Years ago, the companies would have waived a penalty. Thanks to Joseph Wambaugh's 'The Choirboys' novel for that stunt.
LeviF
Did you have a meeting or networking event at which you met some real tools that you know you’ll never do business with? Save their business cards! When you ding someone’s car in the parking lot, take one of those cards, write “sorry” on the back, and stick it under a windshield wiper. 1 3

While I wouldn't be interested in tasting it, seems like a twig 'n' berries cake.

I don’t mind avocado (my wife hates the texture), but it was never my thing. It did nothing for me. Then we went to Las Vegas and stayed a few days with some old friends from our time in Florida. They live there full time now, and took us to lunch after picking us up at the airport. We turned right out of the airport and did not go too far before pulling into a hotel/resort on the left. They ordered guacamole at the Mexican restaurant in this place. Made table-side, and it was the best ever. Have you ever seen that thing where it’s either a princess or a hag? A light switch flipped and I learned I only like GOOD guacamole! Unfortunately, I rarely find that. It was like if there was only ONE good place to have great wings! 1
muppy
true story. My next door neighbor is a veterinarian. He made the sidewalk border in the front of his property small rocks with round prickly cactus set at a regular interval. Hence no dogs peeing on his lawn. quite brilliant actually. I live in a desert climate so we are (Up until recenty) been in severe drought conditions. I call this life hack "my senior citizen car wash" hack. I am a very early riser. Here in socal often there will be morning dew on the car. So I take rags and rub all the dirt off just using the natural water. Windex the glass if needed. Done Its no cost and a wax on, wax off workout for the arms 🙂

ExiledInIllinois
Always keep your small engine fuel tanks topped off, full. Just plain fuel. You'll never have a problem. Totally full! Just fired my lawnmower up for first time since October. No issue. But it is a Honda. I didn't even have the fuel pcock shut.

Pretty much any surface. Some add a drop of dish soap but I skip that. And use newspaper when cleaning glass. Best streak free way to do it. Believe it or not, old ashes from cigarettes work great as a glass cleaner too. Edited April 23, 2023 by yall

A light switch flipped and I learned I only like GOOD guacamole! Unfortunately, I rarely find that. It was like if there was only ONE good place to have great wings! Here is our recipe: - 1 large or 2 small ripe avocados peeled & pitted - 2 tsp fresh lime juice (from approx 1.5 small limes) - 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped - 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped - 2 large garlic cloves, finely chopped or minced - 1 scant tsp ancho chili powder OR fresh jalapeño, finely chopped - 1/4 tsp salt Using a fork mash avocado and lime juice together until desired consistency is reached. Stir in rest of ingredients with spatula. Taste and adjust. Makes about 1 cup. It’s easy and delicious. Use fresh ingredients and don’t forget to taste and adjust at the end. Typically the salt or lime juice needs a little tweak. If your avocado is not ripe, store it at room temperature in a brown paper bag and check it daily. When ripe it will yield to firm pressure but not be mushy. Enjoy. Edited April 23, 2023 by BarleyNY
