TampaBillsJunkie Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 (edited) With only 6 picks this year, we may end up being pretty active signing UDFA's. I know every year people are clamoring for certain guys so I thought it may be good to make a list of guys to look out for who may drop out of the draft. It will make Day 3 interesting. WR: https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Bryce-Wheaton-WR-WestVirginia Crazy measurable, could be worth a flyer if he drops. https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Dontayvion-Wicks-WR-Virginia My buddy who's a Hokie fan loves this guy. TE: https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Zack-Kuntz-TE-PennState An athletic freak. https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Noah-Gindorff-TE-NorthDakotaState Project https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Mason-Fairchild-TE-Kansas Big kid with solid hands. OL https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Alex-Forsyth-OL-Oregon A flyer on a Morse replacement https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Warren-McClendon-OL-Georgia Seems like a smart kid who can be coached up I'll hit up the defense later. There's a lot of great insight at https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com. Edited April 21, 2023 by TampaBillsJunkie 1 2 Quote

Thanks for pulling this info together. Kuntz is really intriguing. How is it that Penn State found no use for him (he transferred to Old Dominion after his junior year). 6'8", 4.55 40? 1 Quote

JohnBonhamRocks Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 Thanks for the list! I’d be surprised if Kuntz is a UDFA. 1 3 Quote

GunnerBill Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 Fairchild went back to school. Kuntz, Wheaton, McClendon won't be UDFAs. I doubt Forsyth is either. Wicks and Gindorff I do not know. 2 Quote

Simon Says Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 I think the Bills roster is at 68. Add 6 draft picks = 74. Beane shouldn't have trouble filling a 90 man roster and I don't see any UDFAs making the 53. Quote

Ethan in Cleveland Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 I'd bring in 3 DTs and 3 or 4 edge guys. Hope one of them pans out. I dont think they are going to draft a TE so I would sign one or two, preferably with that former basketball player history. Sign a punter and kicker to handle camp kicks to keep our guys fresh. 1 Quote

If you count Von Miller as a DE, Bills already have 14 DLINE guys. With other position groups to fill out, they aren't going to bring in 6 more. Quote
Lost Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 I'd like to see if there is anything to be Salvaged from on of the former highest prospected college receivers Joseph Ngata who kinda fell off the face of the earth as far as recognition. Has some great physical traits. Maybe some better coaching can help him evolve into the receiver he was supposed to be. https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Joe-Ngata-WR-Clemson 2 Quote

Strange is a decent prospect in his own right. Sometimes a change of scenery opens up opportunities, but you have to look with some skepticism at guys who transfer to lower levels of competition.
