C.Biscuit97 Posted April 18, 2023 Posted April 18, 2023 I thought he has sucked for 2 years but Pittsburgh always seems to get the most out of receivers. 1 Quote
CapeBreton Posted April 18, 2023 Posted April 18, 2023 Steelers are pretty notorious for drafting WR talent, I’m surprised they make this move. 4 minutes ago, CaptnCoke11 said: Ewww. He looked toast last season More like the last two seasons, I’m not expecting much from him in Pittsburgh. 2 Quote
Thrivefourfive Posted April 18, 2023 Posted April 18, 2023 Pretty talent group down there. The Rams, oh my. They are most definitely playing for the 1 pick next year, and the opportunity to keep the college quarterback in LA. Quote

Maybe he rebounds for a year or two once he’s on that. The Rams paid Allen’s $5.25M roster bonus last month. I wonder if they’re eating any of his $10M salary. If so, that’s brutal unless they are getting a nice pick back (which is doubtful). Edited April 18, 2023 by BarleyNY 1 Quote

Buffalo_Stampede Posted April 18, 2023 Author Posted April 18, 2023 (edited) I kind of wish the Bills did this. Steelers get him for $5 million. He can play out of the slot very well. Edited April 18, 2023 by Buffalo_Stampede 1 Quote

If so, that’s brutal unless they are getting a nice pick back (which is doubtful). The Rams got fleeced. They got only a 7th round pick and gave up Allen Robinson AND a 7th! The Steelers are only responsible for $5 M of Robinson's salary this year. The Rams have only 45 players under contract and are still cap-strapped. This per Chris Brown on One Bills Live. Quote
Charles Romes Posted April 18, 2023 Posted April 18, 2023 Robinson is what the Rams spent money on when they lost the Von sweepstakes. Quote
mushypeaches Posted April 18, 2023 Posted April 18, 2023 The Steelers can make all the genius trades and draft picks that they want, but they're going to be an AFC also-ran until they get a good QB again. Generously, they're probably the 11th best team in the conference at present Quote
