I've always felt this way, watching a Bills game in Orchard Park just hits different. The view on TV is really special imo.

Is it just me? I was going through all the guys top plays of the season and there is just something different about the current stadium compared to the rest of the league. Like when they pan out to the crowd it just looks amazing,  the only stadium that compares is Arrowhead.

Idk the proper words to describe it, so don't bash me, or maybe it's just cause I'm a Bills fan but I hope the new stadium doesn't take this aspect away. It's just so visually pleasing watching a Bills home game

Anyone agree? It's just a different feeling visually watching the Bills at home, can't quite put my finger on it

The colors won't change, but maybe the relatively steeper pitch of the first level will appear on camera as fewer rows of fans, i.e, fewer rows per inch of screen?

Ya , that's kinda what worries me. For example,  Metlife , home of Jets/Gmen gives me the opposite feeling.  I hate the way the fans are constructed. Though I've been to many games there, and it's pretty good visually in person,  Don't like it on TV

I agree, and it probably has something to do with the color scheme (even non-Bills fan typically admit we have great colors and some of the best jerseys in the NFL).

Arrowhead's ambiance is iconic, but Buffalo is in the next tier of aesthetically pleasing football presentation.

Most here also hate the way Jets/Giants fans are constructed.

Welcome.

I believe the sidelines in other stadiums have more area where the fans are set back a bit. The sidelines in Buffalo look more compressed where fans are closer to the playing field. I have no data on this, just what I've observed. Perhaps it shows a better fan experience on TV.

Ya you're absolutely right. That has a big impact. Hopefully it stays that way.

I almost posted a screenshot on Saturday morning. The Tottenham stadium was on USA Network. If the new Bills stadium looks anywhere near as nice as that one does on television you’ll be just fine.

I remember John Murphy going off about pre game about the Jets stadium having the press boxes a mile from the field. I agree the view now is perfect. I can’t remember what game it was I watched last year but the camera was always at an exaggerated angle and far away.

Trust me….All of the sight and lighting lines will be studied, especially those important to television. The modern NFL is basically a big TV show after all.

Have you been to many other stadiums?

KC is quite good.

Seattle, Minnesota, and Arizona are excellent.

Giants/Jets stadium is ok.  Very sterile feeling.

I was underwhelmed by Denver's and Jacksonville's stadiums.

Green Bay is awful except for the history.

Chicago is terrible.

Now that I am back in the Mid-West I will start to make it to some stadiums that I have not visited since they opened.  I've been to the old stadiums in Cinci, Cleve, Pitt, Detroit, and Indy.  Now all new experiences.

Based on the renderings, Tottenham blows our new stadium out of the water.

I have noticed that too.   Other stadiums seem to have huge amounts of real estate between the front row and sidelines.   It makes me think sitting in the 1st or 2nd row is not worth it at some stadiums.  At OP, fans look like they could reach out a give the players shoulder massages at the end zone corners.

Saw the Jags/Chargers game at Sofi last season.  Love the amenities and large concourses.   Restrooms were close by and super easy to get to.   But prefer the game experience at Orchard Park by a lot.

I love our current stadium !!  Something about the spacing, I just can’t put my finger on it, makes it feel like the fans are practically in the game - to a certain degree.  I’m going to miss it a lot !

They gotta fix the end zone corners though. They are actually too tight. It's more important that players feel free to make a play. A receiver diving all out for a pass diagonally through the end zone corner has to be mindful of the wall and curl up right away. It could actually be very dangerous, knock on wood, so far we've been fortunate. But I've seen some scary plays in those corners.

Unfortunately toxic shite is spread on the field at least every other weekend.
