London Updated

It turns out I will be in London for Bills / Jags, however I have no desire to actually attend the game. After the playoff loss and the more recent Bills disaster two years ago I vowed to never attend another Bills Jags game not played in Buffalo.

 

So...does anyone have suggestions for a good place to view the game with Bills fans in London? It appears that the official London Bills backer venue is at capacity.

With the Bills Backers London main bar (Fitzrovia Belle) booked up to capacity, is there any info regarding where all the Bills fans who haven't pre-booked the Fitzrovia may be congregating?  Is there another bar that is a known alternative to the Fitzrovia?

 

I would love to take in the Sunday 6pm/9pm (UK kick off time) games with a load of Bills fans if possible.

Having passionately followed the Bills for every bit of sixty years if I stopped going every time they lost to an NFL team I’d have to wait for the next league expansion to stay away. 😉 So being the gluten for ‘punishment’ that all Bills fans have to be, I’ll be there at Tottenham! Can’t wait. Go Bills

It wasn't the losses on their own, it was more the spectacularly incompetent fashion in which those games played out, particularly the last one. Brutal even for the Bills.

 

It may turn out that I have to find a way into the game regardless if I can't locate a suitable viewing spot.

There is a Bills Backers from Manchester, who are organising something for London, for people who missed out on Fitzrovia. They are trying to do something Saturday night and then also after the game.

Hi, is a meal here on the Saturday night happening?  I'm a Scot who will be in London for the game, with a buddy who is an Eagles fan (a surprisingly good guy), and we'd be keen for a curry and to meet up with folk. 

 

We're also going to the Millwall v Hull match in the afternoon, so will hopefully survive that in one piece!

Yes, happy for this to go as planned. We (my son, my friend, his son and I) will be going for a curry regardless so we can arrange a time in a week if that's suitable? Probably look to eat 7pm-ish. I can't imagine numbers will be that high for it but it's still be good meet fellow fans. I'm happy to send you my mobile number.

Good luck with the Millwall/Hull match. We thought about going to QPR v Blackburn but decided we see enough live soccer during the season and it's an NFL weekend so going to keep it as that.

Just a little PSA here…….

 

I picked up my Pounds at the bank today. We were in Europe in the spring and I waited too long to order and they didn’t have enough time to get me Euros. It takes about a week to get foreign currencies at our bank. We were using a credit card for just about everything until we realized the credit cards had a $3 transaction fee every time we used it. Those fee are really annoying if you’re buying a bottle of water for a couple bucks!
