Gregg Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Mac Jones for Zach Wilson. Rodgers stays in GB as the Pats and Jets have their future starting QB's. 1 Quote
transient Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Hope this doesn’t happen. It would be nice to see them spin their wheels a few more seasons with that clown. 1 5 Quote

Let’s hope it doesn’t happen I think BB is toast. Without Brady and a real chance at a championship players won’t put up with his coaching style. But you’re right that tanking is their best chance at getting there. I also don’t need his successor set up with a FQB. 1 Quote

Zappe wasnt terrible and is a Pats fan favorite. Mac Jones meanwhile is not exactly a Belcihek favorite, doesn't apear to like the "Patriot Way" too much. I think the more turmoil at Foxborough the better. 1 Quote

I get that. I just meant that I thought this was already discussed a while ago about Mac calling bama so it's not really anything new. Just "stirring the pot" for the trade rumors with old data from PFT. Quote

Especially considering the state of the division and the afc in general. He should hung it up after the perfect game. Making the playoffs with that team was an accomplishment. 1 Quote

Still insanely unprofessional - I'd say calling an audible at the LOS would be less unprofessional than calling your ex coaches. 1 Quote
Success Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 I'd trade a 2030 7th rounder to see if he could fit in as a 3rd stringer. 1 Quote

Yup. Mac had a decent rookie year and then they gave him a former failed HC/DC to be his OC and failed ST coach to be his QB coach. Really? Quote
thenorthremembers Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 BB pointing fingers at Mac when he should be pointing fingers at himself. He drafted the guy, put Stromboli from Pinocchio in charge of the offense and then wonders why Mac is looking for outside help. Trade him away, go for it. He is going to get the same result with any QB not named Tom Brady. Its the only result he has ever gotten with a QB not named Tom Brady. 2 1 Quote

C.Biscuit97 Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Problem is Mac Jones acts like he’s Brady. He is average in every possible way. I was never happier than when the Pats took him. That said, what they did to douche Mac was criminal and every other coach in the nfl would have lost their job for if. The buzz is they want lamar. Belichick has struggled against mobile qbs. Problem is NE’s offense is about as bad as baltimores so I’m not sure it would help lamar. 1 Quote
