BillsFanNC Posted March 31, 2023 Author Posted March 31, 2023 It's time to stop the partisan rancor - C-section This right after a marxist DA indicted a former President on complete BS. Now is definitely the time to extend that olive branch! You and the commies you support have long since crossed the Rubicon. There is no going back. You've caused what is coming.

Meh. its morphed. its more like commies mixed with fascist (using the state against their political opposition is a foundation) funded by private corporations that are controlled by a very few groups like black rock. Citizens united has morphed. PACS with the sole intention of politics are scoffed at. but if you make them SOCIAL PACS that also happen to promote one party, then it gets all the social justice warriors on board. IT was/is an excellent corporate marketing move.

My goodness .. what a pathetic post. How about we change the parameters of discussion to “what’s more dangerous”… Without question, the person in charge with setting laws in this country saying someone should “prove their innocence” is far more dangerous than the former President who may have committed some clerical misdemeanors. 2 1

I have no interest in defending Trump. Never voted for him and have despised him since an event in 1989 that I became aware of his character and business acumen; both nonexistent. That is not to say I didn't favor his policies, esp energy, NATO, tax, climate, Iran and a host of others that I think the Dems are always wrong on. While getting him off the US political scene is something I think is best for the US long term, revenge political prosecution is not the way to do it, and will lead to far more escalation and trouble. I have no idea what is in this sealed indictment, but it better be something more than what has been discussed, because if it isn't, the game will be escalated to our great remorse. 2 2

MAGA's are pretty easily defined. It's the roughly 30% of America that still believe trump is their lord and savior. Now do "commies". Cuz I'm pretty sure I can name quite a number of cutthroat capitalists that some here would label as such. 1 1

Also, I’m not a passionate gun rights advocate so you’ll need to pick this fight with someone else. It's not all about gun rights though. I actually agree that regulations won't solve the problem. There's no one thing that will solve it, there's probably not any combination of things we can do to "solve" it anymore. But I don't understand why it's such an all-or-nothing thing with some people. Certain regulations could help keep guns out of SOME people's hands that shouldn't have them. The Conservative side keeps bringing up mental health, which I agree with, but they consistently vote down Universal Healthcare or any programs that would actually make mental healthcare accessible to all of the populations from which these shooters come from. Mental healthcare is expensive and is not covered by many health plans and it's routinely the people that need it most that don't have access to it. Also, we keep hearing about arming our schools but no Republicans are actually designing proposals on logistics or budget for a plan around that. I'm not against it, but it would be a very complex project that needs hard work, which none of them shouting about it have actually done. There are a ton of schools in our country, the first and biggest obstacle is where are you going to find that many quality people to do that work? And then it's coming up with competitive salaries when there's already a shortage of quality security people to go around. And if you can't find them, they'd have to start creating a trade school type approach and train people. There's probably even more that I haven't come up with. I'm not saying the Democrats are providing a solution. They aren't. I'm liberal but I don't like the Democratic party. I'm just pushing back on you on this because it seems like you are Republican. They are always talking about virtue signaling but their views and statements about school shootings are the epitome of what virtue signaling actually is. 1 1
