A transgender basketball player was absent from a girls’ playoff game in California on Saturday night after a week of national media attention and controversy.

The trans athlete had led San Francisco Waldorf’s girls’ basketball team to a 9-8 record and a playoff meeting against Cornerstone Christian School. 

But in the trans athlete’s absence, San Francisco lost to Cornerstone 56-30.

Its just exhausting watching people claim to care about the integrity of women sports…when no one in this country gives a ***** about women’s sports. just call a spade a spade and say trans people are awful, I can get behind that.

It’s less about the sports themselves and more about what’s right, normal, and proper for women and girls as it relates to sports and the places that have historically been reserved for women. Places like restrooms and locker rooms. Everyone knows that but it gets in the way of people like you making idiotic comments about it. What fun is that?
