TheyCallMeAndy
He isn’t great in coverage anymore, something we demand of our LBs

Some teams still do it. Hasn’t been a staple here.
Sammy Watkins' Rib
They are comfortable with Dodson and Bernard. Likely draft some with a day 3 pick. Edited March 26, 2023 by Sammy Watkins' Rib
MrEpsYtown
I would rather they spend that money on Hopkins or OBJ. Beane said something about re-aligning the cap. I think we are getting a rookie MLB, cheap deal.

You don’t see it as much anymore. Patriots do it a ton from what I recall.

Look for the Bills to add depth at safety and CB in the first round. 5-1-5 They have to be able to pressure the QB ... Maybe with 5 rushing. Clearly they are planning the ‘ol 10-1 defense. No need to cover the pass when the QB is flat on his back.

Virgil
With him getting 7 mil from Seattle, I think we would have needed to offer 10 or more, which we weren't going to do 1
Beast
I wouldn’t be surprised if the Bills get a big safety and attempt to convert him into a MLB. It seems they value range in pass coverage more than a run stuffer at that position.

starrymessenger
Oh well didn't Josh run him over at the goal line in the season opener? Seriously that's too bad. He would have been good for the Bills.

Nephilim17
Anyone decent left in free agency? Or could this suggest a promotion internally to starter for one of the younger guys?
Eastport bills
This was a big whiff by Beane and our best option to replace Edmunds. Why wasn’t he more aggressive after losing David to the Bucs. Wagner was there for the taking. We needed a heady veteran leader for the LBs and young guys on defense. Why does Beane need valuable FAs to take less to play here. Wagner would have been affordable if we paid him what he got from the Seahawks.
