With mock draft season in full swing, what are the worst mock drafts you have seen for the Bills.

I'll start: https://www.nfl.com/news/four-round-2023-nfl-mock-draft-1-0-qbs-go-1-2-3-after-colts-trade-up

Chad Reuter just posted his 4 round mock on NFL.com.  It has the Bills TRADING UP to 20 and losing its 3rd round pick for........Pitt DT Calijah Kancey.  Still available at #20: Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who goes next to the Chargers, Hyatt, who goes following that to KC, Trenton Simpson (MLB) to NJG, Dalton Kincaid to Dallas, and OT Darnell Wright to Cincy.  If we traded up for any of these guys I could live with that, but for a DT....NO!

But the carnage is not yet over, in the 2nd round Reuter picks: Drew Sanders, LB Arkansas.  Look, I like this pick, but not if round 1 is DT.  Picked 2 picks later is Jack Campbell, and about 5 picks later centers Luke Wypler and then Steve Avila in the early 3rd.  Our 3rd round pick becomes Seattle's, and they take AL LB Henry To'oTo'o.

In the 4th we take Tenn-Chattanooga- OG McClendon Curtis.  (who?!?!)   Taken several picks later are both Oklahoma RB Eric Gray (to Cincy) and Wake Forrest WR A.T. Perry, to NE.

YIKES!!

I saw one a few weeks ago with the Bills drafting Rashee Rice at 27 with Bijan and Addison still on the board.

Definitely in the minority but I feel as though this draft is not as bad as the consensus for receiving options and will go on to produce a few decent receivers looking back 5/6 years from now.

Rice being one of them.

Prisco's is puke worthy. I'm having Aaron Maybin flashbacks.

Ha,  not the pick I'd make, but he's better than Maybin.  McDonald was one of the few edge rushers at the Senior Bowl who was  beating anyone.  Wicked spin move.  Stats aren't there, but he was being played as a 5 tech last year most of the time.

But yeah, he's light in the load.

OG McClendon Curtis.

I actually find him really interesting. A lot of eyes on him because of Cole Strange last year. He's a left tackle who will move inside to guard. I'd be lying if I told you I watched a bunch of his games but he is an interesting prospect.

I do think the Bills will continue to use their picks on defensive players, though passing on those WR in the first really does not make sense.

I think it's so hard to do mock's right now with the possibility of us trading for Hopkins.  You trade for Hopkins, our entire draft outlook changes honestly.  You go out and trade Hopkins I'm going into the draft and taking either OT or LB in the 1st.  Assuming we trade a 3rd or something for Hopkins then i'm using a 2nd on whatever I didn't draft in the first and then from there on out adding depth guys.

Or what if Zay Flowers is there at 27.

Gaine was at his pro day today.

Could Buffalo take Zay Flowers and then look to move Gabe on Day 2 for someone who maybe didn’t get what they were hoping for in the draft?

Reuter had Zay going in the 2nd round, which I don't think happens.  I'd love him at 27 if the top OTs and some other WRs are gone, and if we don't take him, Cincy, KC, Philly, or NE will.

Although I wouldn't trade Davis.  Rookie contract and a decent #3.  Unless he was part of a trade to Arizona for Hopkins.

Oh, yea, that was definitely under the assumption we trade for Hopkins.

I could still see WR at 27 depending how it falls, and depending on how the FO views Davis long term.
