Just interviewed a prospective employee for one of my open computer positions.

 

- 29 years old

- Italian heritage

- Single

- Female

- Gorgeous face

- 38-24-36

 

Obviously, someone that I will need to hire and to mentor. :blink:

How did you find out the answer to #1, #2, #3, or #6? All are illegal to ask during an interview process... :flirt:

Yeah they do for eligibility reasons. A 15 year old in NYS can't very well run a CNC lathe.

Ah, you're right. It's not illegal to ask, but is illegal to make any hiring decision based on it:

However, it appears to be risky to ask:

 

Age

Inappropriate:

How old are you?

What year were you born?

When did you graduate from high school?

 

Appropriate:

Before hiring, asking if you are over the legal minimum age for the hours or working conditions, in compliance with state or Federal labor laws. After hiring, verifying legal minimum age with a birth certificate or other ID, and asking age on insurance forms
