Solomon Grundy Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 Wonder what his jersey number will be? 😎 Quote

Let’s not kid ourselves Justin…this FO is telling you all you wanna know who we’re drafting at 27. Hint: Edmunds just left. Another offseason, another failure to address the offense and build around our star QB. Sad! 1 1 3 1 1 1 Quote
MAJBobby Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 Fin fans do not like this. Finally a ST player that can actually help on Offense as well. Similar to Harty in that respect. Seems like they are done with the ST only players FINALLY. 11 2 1 Quote
MrEpsYtown Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 This is the kind of functional depth you want to have imo. No problem with this. 8 4 Quote
Logic Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 Diggs Davis Shakir Harty Sherfield Assuming all those guys make the roster, they're realistically likely to only have one more WR on the final 53 at most. I'd like to think/hope that said player will come via a high draft pick, but I am dubious. I'd also like to think/hope that Sherfield was signed mostly as a special teams asset and that they won't be depending heavily on him on offense, but again, I am dubious. More improvement is needed at WR. I really hope they don't feel like they're done there after these two FA signings. Quote
BBills_88 Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 (edited) Our WR corp is better than last years already with guys that are sure handed and speed. Both can catch a pass and go the distance. Draft a receiver and were good. Also, we have a couple of WR on the practice squad that may surprise. Edited March 20, 2023 by BBills_88 1 3 Quote
Dan Darragh Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 It's going to take him a while to get used to the fact that the ball spins the opposite way when thrown by a right-handed quarterback. I'm guessing he'll be ready by week 8. 2 Quote

Agree need to sign above Gabe Davis and push him to WR3 (where he really belongs) 1 Quote
HappyDays Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 We've added two speedy WRs this offseason. Hopefully the plan is to make that a big part of our identity. 6 Quote

If Sherfield is indeed the new Kumerow, he will be active. Quote

It’s deeper but our 2nd option is still a question mark. A nice young WR in the 1st or 2nd would make this a solid group. Edited March 20, 2023 by Buffalo_Stampede 3 Quote

babulator Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 I think the only question people on this board have; Is he going to be better than Isiah Hodgins would have been as a Bill this year? 1 Quote
RichRiderBills Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 Honestly, solid signing. He's more productive than Gabe Davis per snap, better catch % and word is excellent blocker. Decent production given he's likely the 3rd or 4th option every play and had a back up QB for several games. 1 Quote
