Brand J Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 He’s a beast of a WR when targeted, catches everything. But unlike Gronk he isn’t nearly as physical. He should do better than their last two FA TE acquisitions as far as being an offensive threat. 3 1 1 Quote
drummernut74 Posted March 17, 2023 Author Posted March 17, 2023 Does anyone even know that Jonnu Smith was traded lol Quote
Success Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 They have more cap than most - it seems like they're mailing it in, quite honestly. Gesicki and Juju are fine additions - but they could have gone a tier above at both positions. Quote

Odell wants to sign with a contender, and gesicki is on par with all the free agent TEs 1 Quote
BillsPride12 Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 It feels amazing that knowing no matter what moves the Patriots make I am not going to be worried about them in the slightest bit 1 1 Quote
gonzo1105 Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 Seems like a high chunk of change for a guy who's been a disappointment but Idk Josh Oliver went for 7 million a year. Guy can catch for sure but he can't block at all. Quote

That loss was a HC/OC loss on our part. In the Pats celebration afterward you can see Belichek laughing with glee as he knows the Bills lost that game, the Pats didnt win it. We were too afraid to let Josh throw it till it was too late, McD playing again not to lose. We draft a rocket arm because of our alleged weather and then when we can really utilize it, we are too timid. How a QB Mac Jones completes what 2 passes in todays NFL and still wins is absurd. No_Matter_What Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 I hope that anyone who mentions this as an example how our division rivals are getting better also mentions that Miami just lost him lol 1 Quote
machine gun kelly Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 As much as I would’ve enjoyed Gesecki as a Bill to have a #2 TE, and yes I know he doesn’t block well, he is basically a big WR. It’s more likely given the cryptic msg, Beamer wants a TE. Since this draft is deep at TE, we’ll probably use one of the draft pics for another TE. I still like what Kerrmy White continues to pound the drum a 1st RD WR, the other needs are still a G, and MLB. That’s four pics so let’s hope Beane has some magic this April. Quote

I think they will use him more as a receiver than a blocker.. heck neither of the TE my Pats have are a top notch blocker. Both are good receiving TE. 3 minutes ago, JohnBonhamRocks said: Just for 1 year my guess is they draft a TE like Washington in the draft. Quote
Brand J Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 I wonder how much Dawson Knox would’ve got in FA if he hadn’t been extended for $13M/yr. Does he get close to that amount? Or significantly less? Quote
Southern_Bills Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 They took Smith and Henry and did absolutely nothing with them, so I'll expect more of the same out of Gesecki. 1 1 Quote
