Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted March 14, 2023 Posted March 14, 2023 Send him to see that guy in the OBD front office that deals with lower level contracts. Tell McKissic to ask for Stu. * Stu Gotts. 🤨 1 Quote

finn Posted March 14, 2023 Posted March 14, 2023 I wonder if Beane was so frustrated by the McKissic betrayal that he overcompensated by drafting Cook and also signing Hines, when one would have been adequate. Quote
Shanahan's Horseshoe Posted March 14, 2023 Posted March 14, 2023 We already have 2 one dimensional RBs. Maybe Beane can hire a Running Back consultant to do his evals Quote
TheyCallMeAndy Posted March 14, 2023 Posted March 14, 2023 Beane should offer him a contract then change his mind 2 Quote
Starr Almighty Posted March 14, 2023 Posted March 14, 2023 I'd offer him $10 an hour to be on the practice squad.. only because I don't hold grudges Quote
Beast Posted March 14, 2023 Posted March 14, 2023 Have him come for a visit and offer him a contract. Right before he signs it rip it from under him and set it on fire. Quote

Doubtful. They were very thin on punt returners with Crowder and Hyde on IR, and Shakir wasn't 'all that' Quote

Considering these two moves happened 6 months apart I doubt it. Hines didn't come until close to the trade deadline, meaning he had seen the team on the field and seen a diffeciency. Wasn't a 1/2 punch knee jerk reaction at all. 1 Quote
