I believe this is a special teams signing.  I sure hope it is….Dodson was not very good anytime he needed to play meaningful snaps during the regular season.

Ho hum. They should have let him walk so he counted as a free agent lost in the comp pick formula. I beleive he would have qualified.

For backup MLB I'd rather have Klein. 

Bernard probably sucks but he was a 3rd round pick and he should be at least good enough to be a warm body to backup Milano.

Considering Kelly was destined to play linebacker if he chose Penn State over UM and was forever referenced as a LB who plays QB, Allen would be even better.

So why not retain a guy that has years of experience in the system than bring in a comparable talent with no experience?

We better not be. I won’t be shocked if they bring in Wagner fairly cheap. There’s still Safety WR and Oline that need to be filled. The rest of the Afc east is getting better. We better be doing the same
