Reports are the Jets are trying to sign Lazard and he may be a contingency for Rodgers.  We could use a big body and good run blocker.  The rumor mill says they are competing with one other team, I hope it’s us.

He offers more as a WR than McKenzie IMO.

But the choice is not just between the two. There are more sensible options

Why would Buffalo or the NY Jets be in the running for signing this guy?

That's pretty obvious which is the exact reason the Bills should have kept Hodgins !! And should be the reason that Mckenzie should be either traded or released IMHO ...

I am in the minority here, but I think we have enough quality guys to run routes and catch passes.

I have no issues going into the season with Diggs, Davis, Shakir as our starting 1, 2, and slot. Plus we have Cook, Hines, Knox, and I am guessing a top 100 pick.

Where I do have concern is who is backing up our starting 3 WR. I like McKenzie as a tool not a full time WR. Kumerow sucks. Quality WR depth is an issue for me.

Rodgers is telling the Jets he wants Lazard or he won’t sign with them. He is running the show. He also wants them to sign Cobb now. The $h@t show has begun. Green Bay wants him gone because of his massive cap hit if he retires. I hope he retires and screws them both. He pulls stunts every year.
