wppete
Sad to see him go but happy he is getting paid, deserves it.
Success
Do some fans here watch the Bills? No, I wouldn't want to sign him at that price. But Buffalo will miss him in a big way. He was one of our top defenders last year. 1
No_Matter_What
He was good, we will miss him, but I would never pay him that much. Really curious how our defense will look like next year. I will be very weird and different without Edmunds.

RG Murdock
It's Terrel Bernard time. More money to spend for a WR/O-Line.. 1 1

gobills404
This thread is really dragging all of the Edmunds hating weirdos out of the woodworks. It was nice when he had them real quiet during this past season. Edited March 13, 2023 by gobills404
Rigotz
Something to consider, as Edmunds is now the #1 highest paid player at his position (ILB). This counts as a 3rd round pick in the comp pick formula. All we have to do is sign less unrestricted free agents than we lose to gain it. thenorthremembers
He's a good player. In fact I thought he was fantastic last year. That said, given production and amount of games played per season I thought he was a 13 million dollar player max. Glad the Bills stuck to their guns on not overpaying. He’s not a leader - nobody can argue with this statement. I’ll never forget the Jags loss last year when he did not play. He sat at the end of the bench, not involved whatsoever. This was when I decided I was done with him and Gisele (poster) can remember this moment when I threw my hands up and said he was hopeless. Good riddance. Can't argue? I assure you there's more clips of him being a leader, than there is this clip that led you to believe that he's not. I respect your opinion, though. colin
as free agent contracts, we signed von, dquon, milano, poyer and hyde (first contracts) and even tre white for less than that. i know i know, inflation makes the numbers bigger today, but all of those players had a bigger positive impact on our D than edmunds is (altho edmunds plays a million snaps) that's a good no sign
Kirby Jackson
This one hurts. Edmunds was asked to do A TON in that Bills defense. He’s coming off his best year. That length and athleticism will be tough to replace. Wish him the best in Chicago and hopefully we do well in replacing him. 6
Shortchaz
Good for him. not sure it’s possible for him to live up to that contract, best hope is it’s debatable in the end.

It was nice when he had them real quiet during this past season. Us “morons” call a spade a spade. His first 4 years he was an extremely inconsistent player. (Which is why he probably wasn’t signed to a long term extension before year 5) Last year he was good, no doubt. But for 18 mil a year for a guy who is very up and down and doesn’t do much in big games? No thanks 1
GustheDog33
A lot will depend on the replacement in Buffalo, but the Bar isn't 4 years $50million guaranteed high.
Nester
Gonna miss him, I assumed he would get $20mm per year.
