mjd1001
I would rather have Edmunds than not have him. BUT I'd rather spend $18 million per year on the offensive line than on Edmunds. 12 6 2

Gisele
Thank goodness we didn't spend that kind of money on him.

Nitro
As I said before on TBD, I was at the Chicago game and the fans were talking about Edmunds joining their team. It was talk of Chicago sports radio on possible FA signings. He has landed in a good place. He and Poyer may garner the Bills a extra draft pick next year. KingBoots8
Thank you 49 - glad you got paid, also glad we didn’t pay what you got. Wish you the best minus across the field from us 1

He's not a perfect player but he's one of the better off-ball LBs in the league. He was great in pass pro last season, and it's a passing league. 5 3
ColoradoBills
Just now, dave mcbride said: Agreed. I figured the Bears would go after him. It's definitely a loss for the Bills; he had a very good season last year. They're going to have to replace him in FA. I've wanted Lavonte David for a while given that I figured Edmunds was gone. Yes, but now fans can see that Beane couldn't do that money. OL and get 2 WRs (1 draft/1FA). 1

babulator
Good for him, we weren't going to pay him that, nor should we. Let's see who fills his spot now, wonder if Matt will start calling plays. I don't think the Bears will be bringing home the Lombardi anytime soon, so nbd, and @ least he's in the NFC.

I love Smith's game, but I won't be surprised if Edmunds is the better player next year. He got a lot better this past season -- meaning that he's improving.
QCity
What an odd move after investing in TJ Edwards. The Bills should call them about Jack Sanborn, he's looking like the odd man out.
ChiGoose
Very conflicted about this. On the one hand, I think Edmunds is very very good (and young) and combining him with Milano gives us one of the best LB tandems in the league. On the other hand, there’s no way the Bills could afford him at that price. And it’s not reasonable for him to take a substantial home town discount. I’m not going to malign players for getting their bag. I’m sad that he’s gone, but I’m happy for him. At least he’ll be on tv here in Chicago a lot. 3
Virgil
It’s just annoying to lose him for nothing. Not even a transition tag
