Bills seem to be playing the “let’s let free agency settle in” game this year  I’ve seen this with a few teams over the years. Some hit and some miss.

Not sure if he counts against the 51-top contracts, but between him and Cam Lewis, Ike Boettger, these undisclosed contracts that I assume are low are starting to pile up.

 

I agree on Phillips, you’d love more certainty, but this is the level of player Bills can afford now.

I'm all for schematic changes to our defense, and think moving to a dime/3-safety look (Benford as 3rd safety) on obvious passing downs makes a TON of sense.  It's a league-wide trend and naturally saves us from having to find another MLB to play all 3 downs. 

 

I'd still be looking for an improvement on Dodson, but we don't need to replace Tremaine with 1 guy....committee approach and might actually be better for it, if scheme changes

Exactly....I mean it's like some refuse to acknowledge the restructures that have already taken place. I don't get it
