Well since nothing is dotted line/official til Wed.... they probably can announce it now as long as everything is in order by Wednesday....I'm guessing .

They already paid him after his rookie deal so this wold be his second big contract.  he's 27

It’s the nfl.  He’s a RB.  The chargers are smart.

He makes 6 million this year. 
For how he carried their offense last season I don’t blame him for asking for an extension
