This is not an argument against your point, which I agree with. However, what if he reworked his deal and made it with performance based incentives to be more team friendly, still allowing financial freedom for the Bills to make other moves in free agency?

I still think it would be unwise to give up an asset for him (in addition to being incredulous he would willingly take a massive pay cut to be traded). He is most likely going to be cut by the Vikings as they will save about $8 million off the cap if they cut him if I understand it right.

The Vikings reporter was on NFLN this am and he was down on Dalvin.  Low ypc, no burst, no breakaway speed.

They want him gone

No burst, no break away speed, cant take it to the house...

Dalvin Cook rumors are starting to pop up on Twitter…I don’t know if it’s happening but man Dalvin in the same backfield with Josh…good luck AFC East

$11M (after roster bonus) for Dalvin Cook?   Austin Ekeler is making $6M and put up 1600+ yards and close to 20 TD's.   The Bills are going to be paying Nyheim Hines over $4M PLUS incentives that can take that deal over $5M to be RB3 and people want to add an $11M RB on top of that?    Beane can't be that out of touch with RB value.

Trading for Dalvin Cook would be trolling of the fanbase by Beane.  It has to be.

We need a WR

How about James Cook?

We need a WR

How about Nyheim Hines?

The guy has taken 3 backs in the draft and traded for Hynes. Nothing shocks me anymore

wait what? Earlier you were convinced he was gone

After seeing all of these safeties go and no one wanting to pay him - I think he has to stay for his own career

If Miami was going to throw a bank truck at him they'd have done it.
