ghostwriter Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 I think CJ Stroud will be the best QB in the Draft, but it will be interesting to see who they take. 1 3 Quote
Mark Vader Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 So, this pick will be ours in April, right? 1 16 2 1 Quote
WotAGuy Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 (edited) Panthers made a good deal. They obviously found someone they like and are swinging hard to find a QB at the top of the draft. It’s worth a shot to take your pick of the draft when the time is right. Bears made out pretty well considering there wasn’t anyone that would be worth a #1 pick that was not a QB given the compensation received. Edited March 10, 2023 by WotAGuy 3 2 2 1 Quote
aristocrat Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 Now get fields a line and more weapons with clay pool and Moore. Solid deal 2 2 Quote
Process Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 None of the QBs in this draft are worth that much. Crazy compensation. How lucky are the Bears that the Texans decided to win in week 18 and blow the first overall pick? 8 3 1 Quote
stevestojan Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 I’m admittedly not a big college football guy, but did I miss a generational QB coming up in this draft? 2 1 1 Quote
Virgil Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 How does this trade add up on the value chart? Seems light 1 3 Quote
KingBoots8 Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 (edited) Woof, that’s huge. Bears still get a top-10 pick and likely have someone amazing fall to them when a small run on QBs inevitably takes place. Get a good WR out of it as well. This also disintegrates one of my proposed trade back partners in the Panthers, but I could see Chicago moving up for someone in late 1st/early 2nd range… with their extra capital it’s not a significant hit if they have their eyes on a player (Robinson is my guess) Edited March 10, 2023 by KingBoots8 Quote
BBFL Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 Just now, Virgil said: How does this trade add up on the value chart? Seems light Share the same conclusion. I’m guessing Moore is easily weighted as equal to first, if not second round value then…? 1 Quote
No_Matter_What Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 My hot take is that this is great trade for the Bears. 3 6 1 Quote

I just checked the trade chart. If you think that DJ Moore is worth a late first round pick, then it’s fair. I feel like teams usually have overpay to get into the top 5. I don’t think Moore would fetch a late first round pick, so it seems like the Panthers paid under value. With so many teams wanting a QB, I expected more competition 1 Quote
