Aaron Rodgers talking with the Jets

The Packers HAVE a starting QB in Jordan Love... the Jets do not.

You've got this backwards... because they have Zach Wilson and little else, eventually the Jets will have to accept the fact that they will have to pay the Packers's price. If Rodgers doesn't want to play, he will retire. If the Jets don't get Rodgers, they are SCREWED.

The blame will 100% go to Woody Johnson if this blows up in their faces. It was reported in the NYC media that JD and Saleh wanted Carr but Johnson was all in for Rodgers.

Rodgers would be better off going to SF. They are a legit Super Bowl contender, and the NFC is the easier conference.

He seems to be more of a San Francisco type personality too.  Wishing this into existence.

Jordan Love is terrible.  Bringing back Rodgers would basically mean paying him $60,000,000 to set back your rebuild by a year.  There’s nothing stopping the Jets from drafting a QB if they don’t get Rodgers.

The Jets know Rodgers wants out.  I would offer next to nothing.  Eventually the Packers are going to have to accept the fact that the return will be minimal.

Commish Stern vetoed trades like that - don’t like the precedent a Rodgers to the Jets for a 3rd RD pick would set.

Step in Roger!!

Rodgers won 2 MVP's with Hackett as his OC.

And Hackett had zero to do with it. If Rodgers was that fond of Nate, he would've signed with the Jets already. Aaron wants total control of whatever offense he plays for.

How can he sign with the Jests if he's still a Packer?

He can't sign with the Jets... he's a Packer.

Yep, Can't Hackett didn't call the offensive plays in GB, LaFleur called them. There is a solid reason why Denver's offense was such a clusterfluck last year with Hackster as HC.

However, it is very true that Rodgers does like Hackett. I really do hope that ole Nate does call the offensive plays for the Jets should Rodgers end up there...or not. Should be comical.

Something tells me that he might end up in SF. I mean, where would you rather be the QB?

Craig Carton has been saying for a few days that SF is a legit dark horse according to many sources.

He's a Jets fan too BTW

Apparently Jets and GB are wayy off on compensation,  and the Jets feel they're the only team in for Arod and will wait out GB but SF is a legit possibility

49ers win the Super Bowl with Rodgers. They might have won it with Purdy last year had he not gotten hurt

Jeezus, you guys tale things too literally. He would've demanded for a trade to the Jets by now. Is that better?

If they trade him there, doesn't mean he has to sign the contract.

Jeezus Bubba... no, we don't take things too literally.  We simply read what you wrote and corrected you because it was wrong.  The Aaron Rogers/Jets/Packers soap opera is more complicated than what you said.

There won't be a good one left to draft... so it would be a tremendous eggs-on-their-faces moment for the Jets.

Yes.

taking a QB deep in the 1st when they are pushing their recent 1st round bust to the curb is a great idea!

Rodgers on SF would be fun to watch, plus it doesn't make a division rival better.

I would be shocked if Green Bay traded him there so he could win another MVP or two and get all the way to the NFC Title Game twice.

GB should do what's best for GB. They're in full rebuild mode, so if SF makes them the best offer, then they should jump on it.
