Dablitzkrieg Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 And then signed back at a more team friendly deal Quote
ngbills Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 When you draft well and make smart FA signings you can do this. 2 Quote
BADOLBILZ Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 Clark is officially in the Jerry Hughes/Justin Houston/Melvin Ingram stage of his career............that's $5M for one year level........not anywhere close to the $21M. Speaking of Houston........wouldn't be surprised to see him return to KC. Quote
NewEra Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 Eager to see what they do @ LT and RT- I’m sure they’ll fill them properly, but if they swing and miss on 2 new guys, I think the chiefs will take a very slight step back. Step back enough to not win the SB. 1 Quote

Do you post anything other than "yea but KC won the Superbowl" on this board? Just curious what you might think you are contributing to a topic that has nothing to do with that. Same as the Jackson mahomes thread. 1 1 1 6 3 Quote

Matt_In_NH Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 You can have everything you want at all times, I read that on here, it's true Quote
thenorthremembers Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 They have 12 draft picks. I am sure they will be able to make a few trades or restock in the draft. Quote
US Egg Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 That’s the nice thing about being a reigning and 2x SB champ. Fans and pundits don’t quibble over their personnel changes. 2 1 Quote

Einstein Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 Neither has been good the last 2 years. This was expected. Chiefs likely get better by losing these two. Quote

I normally don't block people because they just come back with a different screen name and say the same stuff all over again. Some people need that little of validation in their lives as a response. beebe Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 Frank Clark would be a loss. The Chiefs can absolutely get better left tackle play than Orlando Brown. The most unworthy Pro Bowl pick in recent memory. KC's offensive tackles didn't have a banner year (though Wylie will get work somewhere moving forward and did improve). 1 Quote

It seems to me that Wylie is a much better G than a RT. 2 Quote
Virgil Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 I think they will still get something done with Brown. The Chiefs do have some cap space, so I'm sure they'll be able to bring back just enough players to be a pain again 1 Quote

I don’t think KC makes it to the SB without Clark. He was huge in the Cincy game. 1 Quote
