Allegations that Snyder fraudulently secured a loan to buy out minority owners of Commanders. Goodell alleged to have signed off on the loan despite knowing it was fraudulent.

It’d be such a shame if both of them were no longer able to be involved with the NFL.

Man that would be awesome! Both dirtbags imo

I hate Goodell but this is all smoke IMO, he signs off on everything and does so on behalf of the other 31 owners. It would be very hard if not impossible to prove he knew the loan was fraudulent.  Why would he think that? 55 million is pocket change to all the owners who are billionaires. Probably why they refused to investigate as well.

Obscenely rich people doing whatever they want? Even if it's fraudulent? Say it ain't so.

Every billionaire has done tons plenty of immoral and unscrupulous things to get there. It's unfortunate that we reward this behavior.

Screw Goodell though, hope he burns down with the Snyder ship.

Maybe. Snyder allegedly lied to BoA claiming he had board approval (which included these minority owners) for the loan application. If Snyder told the same lie to Goodell, then yes you’re right I don’t see how Goodell gets roped in. But if Goodell knew about Danny’s fib to the bank and did not do anything about it, then most certainly he too could be in hot water.

Goodell makes more money than any player in the league. I don’t like how he’s handled refereeing, saying it’s the best it’s ever been. He’s done well to expand the game globally, which puts more money in owners’ pockets, so that’s why he’s loved. I think a perfect mix of on-field play would be between Goodell’s league (soft) and Tagliabue’s (violent). Wouldn’t mind if Goodell was shown the door.

I agree that while Goodell certainly looks guilty, he likely isn’t going to be held accountable for this.

Oh, Boy.  Well, I've wondered some time what type of compromising pictures Snyder had on Goodell.

The Snyder pursuers now have another reason for pounding NFL doors for more skeletons in their closet and more emboldened to suspect the NFL is still throwing shade on Snyder.

Not the way to stay in good graces with the D.C. bunch bothered by the NFL’s above the law notion.

What's the crime move (or series?) where they end up nailing someone for a fraudulent mortgage application?

Is there maybe something about this in the WIre?

Just remembered, this is how they got Clay Davis.

Sheeeeeeeit

I see a lot of attacking the rich here. As if they were elevated scourge of the earth.

The non-rich are equally degenerate. Their crimes are just smaller. Shoplifting for example.
