MWK Posted February 28, 2023 Posted February 28, 2023 He won't be back in 2024. Still McDummy's defense, but at least Frazier is out. Great news 3 3 1 Quote
Coach Tuesday Posted February 28, 2023 Posted February 28, 2023 It was time. And when the bitterness subsides, we should all thank him and wish him well. He's a class-act whose REGULAR SEASON defenses always performed. 21 21 1 9 Quote
Bangarang Posted February 28, 2023 Posted February 28, 2023 Hope he's healthy and it's just a break from the grind. If we promote someone on the staff then Bobby Babich makes a lot of sense. Eric Washington seems possible but I wouldn't be happy with it. 2 2 Quote

If they're serious that he'll be back in 2024 then they'll probably just look to fill his shoes from within. This is so weird its almost dysfunctional. He won’t be back here in a year; at least I don’t think. He said he’s taking a year off football. The bills didn’t say a spot would be waiting for him. This is a save face situation. 3 6 Quote

nucci Posted February 28, 2023 Posted February 28, 2023 They don't want to fire him but don't want him back. Probably no other teams want him either. 3 Quote
HappyDays Posted February 28, 2023 Posted February 28, 2023 This is really weird timing, and not too long after Chad Hall decided to leave. What is going on with the coaching staff? 2 1 2 Quote

extrahammer Posted February 28, 2023 Posted February 28, 2023 I thought I read suspicion his contract ends on February 28th, sounds like they didn't renew him and gave the news a little PR spin? 1 4 Quote
Don Otreply Posted February 28, 2023 Posted February 28, 2023 (edited) If this is what it sounds like, LF is gone, and his replacement is already on board. Maybe just maybe we will see, a defensive scheme that is not identical from game to game, and actual adjustments during games that have actual effect on outcomes, or is this just misguided hope? Frazier is an overall good person and I wish nothing but the best for him, enjoy your retirement Leslie! GO BILLS!!! Edited February 28, 2023 by Don Otreply 4 2 2 Quote

BillsFan130 Posted February 28, 2023 Posted February 28, 2023 I wonder if this is just a polite way of “firing” him? As Much as I don’t like Frazier as a coordinator, he seems like a great guy, so maybe McDermott didn’t want to throw him under the bus publicly 4 4 Quote
