Buffalo_Stampede Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 I would probably take Woods over OBJ at this point. Woods should be further along in his recovery from ACL. 1 3 Quote

Maybe the ACL recovery hindered him last season, or maybe he just doesn't have the same speed and agility. I don't think we can afford that. Edited February 22, 2023 by Beck Water 1 Quote
SMAKCruiser Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 He's only 30??? I feel like he's been in the league for 15 years 1 Quote
Not at the table Karlos Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 If we can get him cheap, sure. If he wants a lot pass Quote

78thealltimegreat Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 He’s a Cali kid don’t be shocked if he winds up with the chargers especially if rumors are true of them possibly cutting ties with Keenan Allen Quote
Rc2catch Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 I would love to have Woods back. But no way would I want him back at 6-8 million. He should go back with Mcvay. Their offense really missed him and how they used him everywhere. He’s a perfect fit for what they like their receivers to do. Quote

CapeBreton Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 Woods was solid in 2021 until he got hurt, then he was on Tennessee last year and their passing game was abysmal. I'd love to see the Bills sign him. Quote
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 I don't love him - but no comp pick makes it a bit appetizing tbh. Quote

I think he'd have Buffalo on his list of teams. He'd be a perfect WR to add in as a jack-of-all-trades type. Kind of like a younger Manny Sanders (who we missed last year IMO). Also, he'd be pretty familiar with Kromer's schemes which has the WRs blocking quite a bit. I doubt he's going to cost much. Quote

947 Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 I'm thinking no way, but Woods is exactly the type of signing Beane goes for. Quote
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 Woods skill set, (at least who he used to be) excellent polished intermediate route running, fits Allen’s game perfectly anyway. Not necessarily a solution but could be a zero risk signing worth a look that could add something to the offense. I’d rather a shot with him over Beasley, Brown or Crowder type guys. Quote
SoCal Deek Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 Everyone immediately jumps to Beane in these threads, but I have to wonder how much Josh’s opinion is sought out with regards to WRs. Josh isn’t a rookie anymore. Does management ask him what he thinks he needs or who he thinks he can work with? Quote
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 The guy couldn’t wait to get out of Buffalo but I’d definitely want him back Quote
HOUSE Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 Oh sure place Isaiah Hodgins on the practice squad with a free pass to NY on a rookie contract.. then sign a 31 year old WR for 8 mil... It's no wonder we are broke... 2 1 1 Quote
