Please post if you have it. Pacheco's performance tells me you can replace Motor with a bigger, faster RB, with more burst in a low draft round. Quote
ALF Posted February 25, 2023 Posted February 25, 2023 (edited) WHAT'S NEXT: Buffalo Bills Following their loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, the Buffalo Bills now enter offseason mode, projecting to carry around -$16M of Top 51 cap space, including 9 players with hits north of $10M next season. ghostwriter Posted February 25, 2023 Posted February 25, 2023 I’d gladly take Jordan Phillips back, he was playing injured all year, could probably be had at the veterans minimum. Why not? Shaq Lawson, excellent run defender, could probably be had at the vet minimum. Why not? Boettger, good depth, vet minimum. Why not? Greg Van Roten. Vet minimum. Why not? Quessenberry. Vet minimum. Why not? Let Singletary test the market, if it’s a hot market for him he walks, if it’s cold maybe we can bring him back. Quote

Thanks for posting. Let MOST of anything less than a 60 walk (within reason.. you can't gut that much of your roster). I'd sign Matakevich based on the 76. Why not. Should be relatively cheap, whereas Klein should GO. Try to keep Poyer, but draft someone for him to teach as the heir apparent. Quote

Klein WR Jake Kumerow DE Shaq Lawson S Dean Marlowe P Sam Martin LB Tyler Matakevich OT Justin Murray DT Jordan Phillips S Jordan Poyer OG David Quessenberry OG Rodger Saffold RB Devin Singletary TE Tommy Sweeney OG Greg Van Roten Restricted free agents: LB Tyler Dodson CB Dane Jackson CB Cam Lewis Obviously you don’t have to do all 24, but I figured this is the perfect time since no one has been re-upped or tagged yet. 🦬 I'll do tiers: Vital re-sign: Edmunds Would love to have but likely too expensive: Poyer, Martin For the right price: Lawson, Klein, Boettger, Marlowe Like the player/person but can likely upgrade for cheaper: Singletary, Keenum Would only be interested if they weren't always injured: Phillips, Crowder Don't even think about it Beane: Saffold, Quessenberry, Van Roten, Sweeney, Dodson, Lewis, Murray, Hart, Jackson, Kumerow, Matakevich, T. If not there are a lot of options Probably not the first poster to call *bonkers* on this matter-of-fact spending spree (~30+M against the cap in 2023 even with extremely backloaded deals and future dead cap burdens, not including a Singletary deal and without actually improving the offense at all) for a team way OVER the cap with all the above players already off the books. If the Bills pull all the cap accounting levers available to them only to tread water and get older at so many non-premium defensive positions, that would represent stagnation, to me. A lack of ideas. Kicking the can just to stand still. Quote
