Most of that list will be gone by #27 ... These guys could be available

RB - Gibbs

G - Torrence

C - Schmitz

TE - Mayer

TE - Kincaid

WR - Hyatt

Pre FA, I could see the Bills going with Anton Harrison - T - Oklahoma

It's McBeane though and defense is the likely pick... Nolan Smith - Edge - Georgia is my guess... Can't have enough pass rushers.

U make it like the Jets line is full of bullies. The Bills Oline do open holes and Hall talent level is on much higher level then anyone we got. Yeah there will be some plays that he gets hit in the bk field for a loss and some plays were he pks up 2 tough yds but there’s also the times we’re he can take it to the house from anywhere. The biggest key to having a excellent bk like Hall is the attention he needs to get from the defense. That’s what people are missing here u can’t play against great RBs with light boxes I don’t care how average his Oline is he will take advantage of the situation. I can’t wait too have a great back on this team imagine the pressure it would put on a defense on 3rd and 5 or less?

3rd & 5 we are throwing DEEP!

I understand the concept and agree with your point, but I’m not confident that we will establish a run game with our current coaching philosophy. Also, look at how much Saquon struggled until they got an line and Daboll. I would absolutely love to have a running element to our offense, but it will be ignored. Don't forget this team is built defense first and our rushing D is miserable. Allen will be our leading rusher again in 2023.

Paris Johnson or Skoronski.  I still haven’t watched much of the OL, not sure which one is better but Johnson looks to have the higher upside. I’d go with him.

I think if you are looking for a franchise left tackle in this draft Johnson is the one to pick. If you are looking for the safest bet to be a quality NFL OL regardless of position go Skoronski.

Skoronski is the player I'd pick but gave a hard look at Bijan Robinson.  I just feel that the RB would be eaten up behind a neglected O-line.  Start in the trenches.  It has a trickle down effect on our EXISTING offense, led by Allen.

Cook averaged 5.7YPC this season (rookie season at that) and I think he deserves a shot.

I think Jaxon-Smith will bust in the NFL.

DISCLAIMER: I simply listed the top 5 players from Bucky Brook’s mock and PFF’s Big Board. If you feel “X” player WILL NOT be available, please do not cast a vote for that player.

NOTE: This is an offensive player only draft and if you want to draft a defensive player, your opinion is void anyhow because I don’t want to hear it.

If your choice isn’t on the list, please say who and a list a few reasons why (so long as that player is not a defensive player, in which point I refer you back to the disclaimer above.)

To those who say that this is too early because Free Agency has not hit, I would argue that it’s important to know where the draft is deep at before we spend money in FA.

I voted even though its pointless that you didn't include defensive players.  They are going to stick to their board and go BPA, so doesn't matter you refuse to accept defense is a possibility, it is a reality.  And I am all for offense at 27, just saying this thread is pointless when you don't include realistic choices.

But if these people are on the board, BPA is Bijan or maybe JSN.  So I voted for Bijan solely on him being BPA.

O’d be okay with Harrison there.  Smith will be a disappointing pick to me unless we get an OL anD WR in FA .

I can say with 100% conviction and honesty that there is not one draft connoisseur in here. Or probably even in the NFL.

I see some neat thoughts and ideas though. Even guesses!

Connoisseur?  No.

Draft geek?  That would be me.

If these are the available players, I would order it as the following:

1. WR - Hyatt

2. TE - Mayer

3. C - Schmitz

4. G - Torrence

5. TE - Kincaid

6. RB - Gibbs

I love this sort of thinking. Whenever I look at a Mock Draft, I immediately go to the teams right after the Bills just to see who the author believes the Bills will have passed up.

Yes, I do the same thing.

In the case of Bijan Robinson.

Assume he's there at 27.

The Bills pass. It's a running back, we don't take running backs in the first round in the modern NFL. Okay.

But then the Bengals take Bijan Robinson. Now their offense gets the best RB in the draft. They become even harder to beat.

You can't ultimately make decisions on your franchise, but the "what did we pass up" is a post-mortem analysis that I think makes sense.

Agreed. I never look at the guys picked AHEAD of the Bills selection. I only look at who we had to choose from when it was our turn at the podium.

I like that list a lot though. Great weapons to choose from imo....Hyatt is a missing ingredient in our WR room and two difference making TE's. If we land one of the top guards in free agency I would love any of those 3. The 2 TE sets would be an excellent wrinkle and Hyatt can fly.

Funny, I have seen mentions in this thread and others that the Bills need a deep threat WR, but in other threads people complaining that Dorsey and Allen go deep too often.

So which direction do they need to go?

They definitely don’t go deep too often.

That narrative started at the end of the Patriots game when Allen just said enough of this and started throwing.

Then the Dolphins Playoff game where Howard Simon had to have a bypass because Allen wasn’t taking the “easy button” throws.

Just get better WRs.

It’s a lot of talking.

Kurt Warner showed there are plenty of checkdowns designed into the offense.

Team scored 27 ppg Weeks 1-9 and 32 in weeks 9-18.

If there was an option to trade down/out of the first round for more picks on day 2, that would be my vote. I doubt I'd be the only one.

Unless there is a WR or outstanding OL they really want, trading back into the 2nd and picking up another late 3rd is fine with me.

Coming away with a WR, 2 OL and MLB on Day 2 would be pretty, pretty good.

I think he definitely can be there. He’s a slot type Wr that will more then likely to run 4.55 40 . I’m not trying to take anything away from JSN but how often do we see slot Wrs drafted in the first rd? I realize he put up crazy numbers in 2021 but playing in the slot how often is he facing a NFL caliber CB? Unless he tears down the combine I expect him to be a 2nd rd selection. To many questions for him to be a first rd guy in my opinion and also he’s coming off an injury that sidelined him the majority of last season.

Bijan if hes there at 27. I like Cook, but Bijan is too good to pass on if hes there. I would think of Q. Johnston but i doubt hes there same with parris or skoronski. Van ness on D if you had listed D.

O'Cyrus might be an idea since we all want more o-line, but not sure he fits the role like they are looking for.

Bark still sees a lot of  8 man boxes something he won’t see much in Buffalo.
