H2o Posted February 16, 2023 Posted February 16, 2023 Good for Hodgins. Hope he continues to get some burn in that Giants offense. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2023/02/16/giants-re-sign-isaiah-hodgins/ Quote Wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins was a bright spot in the Giants passing game during the 2022 season and he’ll be back for more in 2023. The Giants announced that they have re-signed Hodgins on Thursday. He was set to be an exclusive rights free agent this offseason. 1 Quote
K D Posted February 16, 2023 Posted February 16, 2023 Who has a better career? Hodgins or Gabe Davis? Should we make a poll? 1 1 Quote
Rc2catch Posted February 16, 2023 Posted February 16, 2023 I’m happy for him. Finally got a decent run of health and he was able to perform. 3 Quote

He signed a one-year, $870,000 deal on Thursday. Edited February 16, 2023 by H2o 2 Quote

Wishing Hodgins all the best (in the NFC), but my vote would be Gabe all day long. I’m not giving up on him. In fact, I look for a big rebound season if he stays healthy. 3 Quote

That’s the take-it-or-leave-it deal they get. 2 1 Quote

Hodgins was a bit cheaper because he was taken a little later in the draft. No idea yet what the terms of the new deal are. Gabe needs a big year to earn the big paycheck, but he’s already done things Hodgins could only dream of, like 4 TD’s in a playoff game. Quote

wppete Posted February 16, 2023 Posted February 16, 2023 Good for the Giants . Another loss for Beane and McDermott. Quote
Chicken Boo Posted February 16, 2023 Posted February 16, 2023 Smart move by the G-Men. Just 24 years old. Hodgins is in a great position to earn a lucrative deal next off-season. 1 Quote
DCofNC Posted February 16, 2023 Posted February 16, 2023 No brainer for the Giants, even as a 5th WR, vet min money is always a win. 1 Quote
SCBills Posted February 16, 2023 Posted February 16, 2023 Not worked up over this. He would’ve been nice this past year, but the Bills need a legit WR2, which would’ve made Hodgins a WR4 at best, likely WR5 behind Shakir next year … assuming that we do right by Josh (which is apparently assuming a lot).
