this sums it up nicely.  We didn't have a great OL last year, or WR depth.  We failed to adjust to this.  Going forward, we should fix the OL and WR, but will the coaches be able to adjust to what they have as the season moves along (injuries, players doing better or worse than expected, etc.)--or do they simply stubbornly stick to their "process/system."

Chris Jones is a monster, but 6 of those guys were major contributions.  Kansas City just isn't as worried about losing games during the regular season because of rookie mistakes.  Reid understands that the postseason is all that matters, and he coaches to win in January even if it means talking your lumps in November.

 

yet, KC still manages to get the 1 seed.  Which is even more annoying that McBean won't play rookies.  Enough of this veteran preference.  How good would have Shakir been?  Why did we not see Teller's potential and drop him?  Just total mismanagement all around.
