BillsPride12 Posted February 15, 2023 Posted February 15, 2023 Had this conversation with some co-workers recently and figured it would be a fun topic to bring to the boards. Me: -See the Bills win a Super Bowl -See the Sabres win a Stanley Cup -Do a cross country trip(would want to do it the right way though, take my time and only have a rough game plan of must see things and kind of explore as I went along) -Get a Hole in One ⛳ -Play 100 golf courses(then once that is reached, will change to 150...then 200 etc) -U.S. cities I need to visit: San Francisco, Seattle(I have already been to all of the other big ones I've always wanted to visit) These are just some of my main ones, I'm sure I will probably add some more to the thread at some point but definitely curious to see what other people have on there lists. I am not particularly fond of opera, but, growing up in Germany, I have seen 20+. By far the most impressive considering the performance and the venue was Verdi's "Aida" in the Arena of Verona. The Arena is a quite large and well-preserved open-air Roman amphitheater from 30 A.D. When I was there nearly 50 years ago, they did not even have microphones and loudspeakers, which were installed in 2011. The Arena (Wikipedia pic) 1 1 Quote

Yeah... You figure, that's about 5 gallons of water weighing about 8 pounds per gallon. Even at say 4 gallons, 32#s dropped on your head has to do some damage. Quote

And yet, I LOLed. 1 Quote
Steve O Posted February 16, 2023 Posted February 16, 2023 Make love to Raquel Welch. Pitch to Tim McCarver. Stare down Bobby Hull on a penalty shot and make the save. Guess it's time for a new list... 1 Quote

PastaJoe Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 I know it won’t happen, but I’d like to see a Sabres game in every NHL arena. And also see one game in every other pro hockey arena; AHL, ECHL, SPHL, FPHL. I’d also like to participate on ice with the Sabres at a practice just to feel how fast they really are. 1 Quote
SinceThe70s Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 Domestic travel: Monumental Valley and Antelope Canyon - had a great trip planned including stops at both that got scuttled by Covid and that's gonna bug me until I get there. A bonus would be a side trip to The Wave, but that's unlikely. Overseas travel: Australia and Spain Sports: Army-Navy football game Quote
