Another member of the AFL championship teams left us today.  Charlie was one of our WR/TEs and made the AFL All Star team in ‘65 if I recall correctly.  Hate to see another of our AFL champions pass on.

I agree , still remember that pass he caught from Kemp with 28 seconds left to beat the Pats on  a Saturday night. Both he and Ernie Warlick joined the team around the same time, and both stayed in Buffalo .

78 yards I believe for that game winning TD. RIP Charlie.

I was a season ticket holder in 64,65,66 and 67.

3 bucks a ticket end zone War Memorial Stadium.

I worked with Charlie for several years after he left football.  He was a great guy and fun to be around.  Charlie was good at his job and the people that reported to him in his department really liked him.  I remember him as a player but luckily got to know him as a person.  It's a sad day when we lose wonderful people like Charlie.

I also worked for Charlie , he was a General Foreman at Harrison Radiator after his football career . He was always calm and easy going what a pleasure to work for.
