DJB Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 Also where is @YoloinOhio? I didn’t think he even took time off on Valentine’s Day. Ms Yolo must be happy 1 1 Quote
ngbills Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 May be a good coach but not sure Denver is the breeding ground for good WR coaches. They have done nothing in his 5 years there. Jeudy has been a disappointment. 1 3 Quote
The Jokeman Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 He's also in contention for a job with the Jets or staying in Denver. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2023/02/14/zach-azzanni-up-for-bills-jets-wr-coach-openings-but-could-remain-with-broncos/ Quote

MrEpsYtown Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 He worked with Mike Shula in Denver and has ties to Bill Musgrave who is connected to Frazier. He also coached with Pat Shurmur who worked with McDermott in Philly and whose son is on our staff. He did survive a number of coaching changes in Denver, so maybe that is something. I'll take jerry Jeudy or Cortland Sutton. 2 3 1 Quote

I am just saying not knowing much about the guy, but I would not call it a good resume. Usually you try to poach based on some success or working under a coach etc. Why you see the Andy Reid coaching line talk, etc. But hey, he could be amazing for all I know. Quote
947 Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 Smoke & mirrors. We all know darn well that our new WR Coach will be from the Panthers. 6 Quote

78thealltimegreat Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 His development isn’t too bad his ace on his resume’ is the development of Tim Patrick who before his ACL tear went from 6th round pick to arguably Denvers most reliable receiver 2 Quote

Kromer had an awesome resume and we all hate our offensive line Also Daboll's was not very compelling when he came here either I'm just not sure we can have any idea with position coach hires. Best to just not feel much about it either way 3 Quote

I wanted a guy with some experience. I would love to throw a pick at Denver for Juedy also. 1 Quote

I doubt Payton gives him up.........even for the Bills 1st rounder.........but it's a possibility. If he brings Michael Thomas with him to Denver maybe he decides to cash in Jeudy for some help elsewhere. 1 Quote

I think he's seen enough (or hasn't seen nearly enough) of Thomas the last 3 years to last him the rest of his coaching career (and yes, I recognize he wasn't coaching in NOLA this past season). Talent aside, no one would know better than Payton that Thomas is a head case with a bad foot. Quote
Wagon Circler Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 Git 'er done Russ. Don't let him leave the building. Quote

And in the second place........not only knowing they traded away many of their good picks in coming years for Russell Wilson..........but that he was also going to be without the 1st and 2nd round picks that they had to send to the Saints? That whole situation is crazy, IMO. I mean.........I thought it was dumb and wasteful when McDermott took over and didn't franchise Gilmore so they could trade him...........the Broncos have been wasting valuable personnel chips like a desperate NBA team(Lakers for example) the past couple offseasons. 2 Quote
