Rihanna-A boring halftime performance

I like her and fine when her songs come on the radio, but boy was that a nondescript halftime show.

 

Then I go online and everyone's saying how wonderful it was.

 

Am I missing something?

Before tonight, I always thought of her as a superstar.  Watching it, any one of us on the board could have brought more energy to the stage tonight.  Very disappointing.

It was her first live performance in almost 5 years. That’s the main reason there was/is so much hype.

The whole floating platform thing seemed promising at first, but they went absolutely nowhere with it.  Her performance seemed flat and uninspired, and the Michelin Man dancers were ridiculous looking.  Not a fan.

She is clearly pregnant. Like 4 months or better. What more did you want her to do?

Was asking reaction here as yes usually interested in seeing the halftime act as the Bills aren't playing.

 

For all the hype it was one of the worst ones imo.

It was simple compared to other years

I thought it was decent. The choreography was good and entertaining. I prefer the halftime where it feels like an actual show/event vs when maroon 5 played and it was just a band playing on a stage. Halftime shows never live up to the hype.

The prince stroking his guitar behind the sheets had me in tears and was the last SB performance I actually enjoyed but I usually find them all pretty blah.
