DapperCam Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 It is really super close on if his left foot is still down or not. Quote
Bimmer323i Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 Pretty sad they put these teams on a slick ***** field that they’ve had forever to prepare for…. 1 Quote
stevewin Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 His left toe is down when his left hand hit the ball on the double clutch - this is one where they should just give it to him for a great catch 1 Quote
Yobogoya! Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 Seems like the toes of the first foot were still down when he established control. Quote

Let's Go Buffalo Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 Should be a catch in my opinion....but I've been wrong before. Quote

Talley56 Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 I don't see how they can take the catch-fumble away but rule this one a catch. If this stands as a catch the claims that the refs are helping KC are null and void. 1 1 Quote
BeavercreekBillsFan Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 Pinned it with one hand and got both feet down. But it’s KC so we know how this goes 1 Quote

Big Turk Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 8 minutes ago, Talley56 said: How? He caught it with two feet down? It was overturned so I guess it wasn't but I still don't get how. That's not enough to establish possession in bounds. There has to be a third step or some sort of football move like a juke or a spin, etc. Quote
BLeonard Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 (edited) Now, wait. If they threw a flag, KC should not get to challenge the previous play. Philly snapped the ball, which was the cause of the flag. Because the refs messed up, fine, it's not a penalty, but KC should not get to challenge here, due to a referee's error. Looked like a football move to me. He was hit as soon as he caught it and never even had an opportunity to tuck it away. Not sure how you classify that as a football move as defined in the rule book. He barely had time to turn his head. Quote
Dr.Sack Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 This will be ruled in favor of the team with “injured” QB. Commit a penalty but then they pick up the flag and allow Reid more time to get challenge in. Haha Quote
zow2 Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 Gonna have to freeze that the instant he gained control to know if the foot was still down Quote
billsbackto81 Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 Just now, Success said: How? That isn't a catch. Philly got 1st down off in time but refs shafted them with the substitution call which allowed KC to challenge the previous play. BS! 1 Quote

A third step, tucking the ball away, etc. How about catching the ball and then turning 90 degrees upfield? I know it was bang bang but possession and two feet should be the rule then it takes the human bias errors out of it… Quote

Over 29 years of fanhood Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 Hurts precision is shocking. These two QBs are the class of the league 1 Quote
