T&C Posted February 8, 2023 Posted February 8, 2023 The NFL Network pulled Hall of Fame Dallas Cowboys receiver Michael Irvin from Super Bowl LVII coverage following alleged misconduct Sunday at his hotel. https://247sports.com/college/oklahoma/Article/Michael-Irvin-removed-from-NFL-Network-Super-Bowl-coverage-after-womans-complaint-against-Cowboys-legend-204436964/?fbclid=IwAR0AB45GfhB7IF8GUDnUZyvLAjo-wOhlRjHqdkdGSW-t3q2LXYFfBCQgEIc 1 Quote
Augie Posted February 8, 2023 Posted February 8, 2023 I obviously have no idea what happened at the hotel, but any outcome that results in less Michael Irvin is not ALL bad! 11 3 12 1 4 Quote
london_bills Posted February 8, 2023 Posted February 8, 2023 Out of eagles V chiefs he'd pick the cowboys 1 2 1 Quote
ghostwriter Posted February 8, 2023 Posted February 8, 2023 I’ll reserve judgment. The article is inconclusive. 1 Quote
GunnerBill Posted February 8, 2023 Posted February 8, 2023 I remember when the NFLN Gameday panel was: Mooch, Faulk, Kurt, Sapp and Irvin. 3 down. 2 to go. 4 Quote
Augie Posted February 8, 2023 Posted February 8, 2023 I don’t miss Sapp at all either. Wasn’t it Faulk who said we needed to address LT when Jason Peters was our best (only?) player? Could be off on that one, but I think that’s right. Quote
Gunsgoodtime Posted February 8, 2023 Posted February 8, 2023 (edited) Not enough information yet, however I have been waiting on something like this for years to come out on Irvin. He seems to be the perfect candidate for sexual assault charges with his high ego and loud mouth Edited February 8, 2023 by Gunsgoodtime 1 1 1 Quote

Airseven Posted February 8, 2023 Posted February 8, 2023 He propositioned her. Touched her arm, hip. She declined, complained. Network acted on appearances. Yawn. 1 Quote
babulator Posted February 8, 2023 Posted February 8, 2023 I may be the only one, but I don't mind Irvin. I don't love everything he says obviously, but I like him and Mooch, their enthusiasm is infectious. Kurt, Marshall and Sapp are/were all awful. With Kurt, if you don't QB exactly like him, he finds flaws, and Faulk is such a blind homer it's hard to listen to anything he says. Sapp.... well... his awfulness simply knows no bounds. Loved him as a player, but man, that guy is just out of his mind, he's not even of this planet anymore. 1 1 Quote
MJS Posted February 8, 2023 Posted February 8, 2023 Does it say anywhere what he allegedly did? Quote
Gugny Posted February 9, 2023 Posted February 9, 2023 Apparently, it’s running him crazy and we should all employ a little empathy for that reason, alone. Quote
Brand J Posted February 9, 2023 Posted February 9, 2023 I was surprised when he picked the Bills and the Cowboys earlier this season for the SB, with the BILLS winning. Quote

78thealltimegreat Posted February 9, 2023 Posted February 9, 2023 Apparently the lady complained about Michael and it got back to the people at NFLN…Michael claims nothing happened and it was in the hotel lobby I’ll reserve judgement 1 Quote
DaBillsFanSince1973 Posted February 9, 2023 Posted February 9, 2023 "Honestly, I’m a bit baffled with it all," Irvin said. "This all happened in a 45-second conversation in the lobby. When I got back after going out… I came into the lobby, and I talked to somebody. I talked to this girl. I don’t know her, and I talked to her for about 45 seconds. "We shook hands. Then, I left… That’s all I know." Irvin added that he could not remember what exactly their conversation entailed, but he doubled down on his stance that he did not have inappropriate physical contact with the woman. https://www.foxnews.com/sports/hall-of-famer-michael-irvin-baffled-nfl-network-removes-super-bowl-coverage-complaint.amp Quote
