Could be the blockbuster move that sets the tone for next year. Obviously we'd need to shift money around and likely get him a new deal...but... I am liking the idea. 2 1 10 10 Quote
GolfandBills Posted February 5, 2023 Posted February 5, 2023 (edited) With what money? That would put us well over the cap 40+ million. I don’t think there’s enough shifting that can be done to make this happen and actually fill other roster holes and draft. Edited February 5, 2023 by GolfandBills 1 Quote
Brand J Posted February 5, 2023 Posted February 5, 2023 Donald was already thinking of retirement prior to this past season. No doubt the Rams would want a bounty in addition to taking on his hefty contract. If he was coming off a rookie deal, no doubt, figure it out. But a Donald who’s already considering retirement? No thanks. 4 Quote
BuffaloRebound Posted February 5, 2023 Posted February 5, 2023 Not with Miller. Too much money already owed to an aging D Linemen. Daron Payne… now your talking. 1 2 Quote
Warcodered Posted February 5, 2023 Posted February 5, 2023 But then who would the Rams trade those picks for? It's not like they use 1st round picks I think they might be allergic. 1 Quote
Albany,n.y. Posted February 5, 2023 Posted February 5, 2023 Why stop at Donald? Lets get the best 5 O-linemen in the league, the best RB, the 4 best WRs, 3 of the best LBs and the 4 best D-backs. Then we'll trade for Mahomes and keep him on the bench as insurance and for good measure KC will throw in Kelce. No need for the next 10 drafts & we'll tweak the salary cap for 1 great season. Time to go for it all. 1 1 1 Quote
Kaenon Posted February 5, 2023 Posted February 5, 2023 (edited) Rams haven't had a first round pick since 2016 and don't have one until 2024, barring they don't trade that away. Maybe they're seeking. Edited February 5, 2023 by Kaenon Autocorrect Quote
Don Otreply Posted February 5, 2023 Posted February 5, 2023 Five years ago, I would have given it some thought, now? Not so much. 1 Quote

Billzgobowlin Posted February 5, 2023 Posted February 5, 2023 No money at all. In fact we don't have the money for players on the books now let alone the many free agents we have and rookie contracts Quote
78thealltimegreat Posted February 5, 2023 Posted February 5, 2023 If we did that we’d officially be at Saints level cap space…which they seem to somehow laugh at anyway Quote

And your dream superbiwl season was pure garbage because each game the Bills played was so one sided in Bills favor, with them putting in little effort out of mercy as the talent disparity was so wide. Makes for poor entertainment and I wouldn't want any part of a bogus championship. If you aren't good enough to beat similar competitors then they need to go do something else. wppete Posted February 5, 2023 Posted February 5, 2023 We would need a money printing press to get Arnold. We don’t have much money left. Majority is locked up. Quote
Bills Fan in MD Posted February 5, 2023 Posted February 5, 2023 "Shift" money? We'd need to do a lot more than that. They would need Jason Bateman's character from Ozark to make it work. 1 Quote
Buffalo_Stampede Posted February 5, 2023 Posted February 5, 2023 Let’s start a gofundme for Brandon Beane. Quote
Billl Posted February 5, 2023 Posted February 5, 2023 A lot of fans are in for a rude awakening when they see salary cap bill that’s about to come due. Quote
