TFBillsfan Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 Knowing the Bills play at Philly and at KC next season could the Bills be a prime candidate again to kickoff the NFL season? Feel like the odds are more favorable if Philly wins since it would be AFC vs NFC. If KC wins do they kickoff the season with a rematch against Philly at KC? Thoughts? Quote
KingBoots8 Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 We got the opener in 2022. I think you’d be more likely to see KC vs Cinci to start things off 2 7 Quote

Trock Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 After this year’s debacle with the Hamlin injury. I don’t see us getting many good matchups or night games. 2 3 5 1 2 Quote
chongli Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 (edited) The NFL generally doesn't like scheduling an inter-conference matchup to start the season unless it really has no better choice. And I think the nation is sick of us, judging by tweets and posts in other forums/articles. Half this forum is too, lol. And because the Hamlin thing, I guarantee you us at Cincy won't be primetime either. They will stick it at 1 PM. Edited February 4, 2023 by chongli 4 1 2 Quote
dma0034 Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 Eagles have: Cowboys, 49ers, Vikings, Bills Chiefs have: Chargers, Eagles, Bills, Bengals I think 49ers if Eagles win and either the Eagles or Bengals if the Chiefs win 2 3 Quote

Success Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 We're going to be a little more under the radar this year - no way we get the opener, imo. And that's just fine w/ me. 5 4 Quote
Realist Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 Chiefs win, it’s got to be Eagles. If Eagles, I would say 49ers. Quote

Airseven Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 Bills will not play in the 2023 opener. Quote

NO Thanksgiving Day game please. Losing Tre & Von to ACL injuries the last 2 turkey day games is enough to know it's bad mojo. Quote

Let the whole hype train just slow the heck down and let's get back to Sunday day ball. the 13 seconds game put them on the networks radar and the Cinci game took them off, hopefully. 1 Quote
BillsPride12 Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 I don't see it happening...Buffalo is going to lose a bit of it's National Luster next season and I'm more than ok with it. Quote
ALLEN1QB Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 Not sure how it works how about overseas game? Quote
HailMary Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 If it's the Eagles hosting the NFL opener, no chance. Dallas or SF at Philly would be a lock. Quote
