World Economic Forum secures a seat on the new Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government

American Thinker, by Olivia Murray

In September of 2017, Klaus Schwab, founder of the World Economic Forum, delivered a lecture on “strengthening collaboration in a fractured world” (what a handy euphemism for global tyranny!) before a group of students and faculty at Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government

(snip)

Now, the North American roster for the latest class of Schwab’s Young Global Leaders is out, and one individual in particular stood out to me. He’s a Texan Democrat, his name is Colin Allred, and he’s sitting on the newly-conceived Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government.

12 year FBI agent whistle-blower.

She's lying too.

***** off leftists.

Of course she's lying!

Because anyone who doesn't demonstrate 100% agreement, obedience, and support for all US government actions and policies while demonstrating 100% disagreement with anyone the government views as an enemy is a traitor. A misinformed traitor spreading disinformation and infecting the American collective with false narratives and debunked conspiracy theories.  Most likely working for some foreign adversary or a supporter of "insurrectionists" or other "bad" actors.  Putting Americans in danger and emboldening our adversaries (all the buzz words and terms from the playbook).

While you legitimately act as a free citizen of the Republic with rights to dissent and expression your views such as those freedoms provided by the US Constitution the government and its supporters and allies such as those in the media view you as a subject of the government and the ruling elite.  Do what you're told and shut up.

This is the argument they will use against you if you speak out against or question anything.  Its the only defense they can muster.  Certain posters use it on this PPP board.

Continuing crickets from the commie left

Their contention is "free speech" can be dangerous because it can be hurtful to some and disinformation to others.  The social good vs. the rights of the individual dilemma.  And therefore, some regulation and limits need to be applied.  Of course that conclusion whether true or not, leaves out the discussion of the most important parts.  Namely, how is what is allowed and not allowed decided, to whom is it harmful, how is it harmful, and most critical, who gets to decide what can and cannot be spoken, written, or displayed.

Now if there was some social agreement defined from open and honest consideration of all points of views on what constitutes free and "allowable" speech that might be something most people across the social and political spectrum might be able to get behind.  But when special interests or a specific political group with a specific political agenda, in secret, and without any transparency, get to decide for everyone, along with performing the act of censoring and censuring those that "speak" outside the acceptable boundaries that they create and operate in secret, that's another story.  All while claiming its "fair" while consciously understanding they are lying.  What it comes down to is the self-appointed censors decide to shut down people they don't like saying things they don't like.  All their fancy talk and elaborate excuses can't hide that reality.

Other than Donald Trump, and now Ron DeSantis, there is no one more feared by the Democrat Party and its lapdog media than Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), chairman of the powerful House Judiciary Committee. And as I reported in January, Jordan now leads the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government against conservative America, making the no-nonsense Republican even more terrifying.

In an interview with Fox News Digital, Jordan laid out in general terms what his committee has discovered so far.

Quote

With all these things that we start to investigate, it seems to me that the central theme is — the only thing we get wrong is — it’s always worse than we thought. We thought the government was pressuring Big Tech to do certain things on the Hunter Biden story, and then, the Twitter files come out, and we’re like, ‘Oh, it’s worse than we thought.’

What began as an investigation into how the FBI and Big Tech companies like Twitter allegedly cooperated to censor stories about Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings and his laptop, days before the 2020 presidential election, has spread to much more, said Jordan.

In reference to FBI Director Christopher Wray this week finally conceding that the COVID-19 virus likely originated in China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology, and the infamous Hunter Biden laptop story — both of which Democrats immediately dismissed out of hand — Jordan told Fox:

Quote

We thought that it was likely that COVID came from a lab and turns out, yep, it was. The whole Trump-Russia thing, we find out they knew the dossier was false but used it.

Jordan continued, with dose after dose of reality:

Quote

There are just examples after examples where it is actually worse than we initially assumed upon opening investigations. You look at all of these things, and different agencies targeting the American people who they are supposed to serve — whether it is the CDC or the DOJ and FBI and social media companies taking down things and limiting speech. And Democrats always seem to just move on.

Of course Democrats attempt to just move on, congressman. It’s called deflection, which often includes attempting to get the rest of us to look at a new shiny object and ignore the smoke wafting from under the rug they feverishly try to sweep the real issue.

As to House Democrats working with the majority Republicans to weed out what amounts to “deep state” corruption working with or pressuring the business sector, Jordan put on a hopeful face, which I’m hard-pressed to believe he believes has a snowball’s chance of becoming reality, telling Fox Digital that the Democrat Party “used to care about the First Amendment”:

I would hope they could work with us on this,” Jordan said while reflecting on past legislation like The Shield Act, which he co-sponsored with Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) to protect journalists from being required to divulge their sources to the government.

Jim Jordan Issues Stack of Subpoenas For National School Board Officials Who Demanded Biden Administration Target Parents

Representative Jim Jordan (R., Ohio) and chairman of the House Judiciary Committee has subpoenaed senior officials at the National School Boards Association (NSBA) as he heads up an investigation into disturbing letters from the organization to the Biden administration that accused concerned public school parents of “domestic terrorism.”

In October of 2021, it was discovered the NSBA had sent a letter to the Biden administration asking them to launch investigations into parents who show up in protest at their own school board meetings across the country. As the pandemic wore on without proof it was affecting the general student population in any serious way, parents began demanding government schools return to normal procedures, open classrooms and abandon unnecessary mask and vaccine mandates. The situation was exacerbated by school closures, which gave parents an intimate look into what was happening in classrooms. Critical race theory perversions of history and social lessons, secret transgender policies, and sexualized (and sometimes pornographic) content was suddenly on display for parents to see, and they did not like it.
