And their #1 CB is out. And you’re counting players that got injured mid-game. After they we’re already getting abused. That doesn’t count. You can’t say we were missing Tre and Poyer while they were getting abused before they went out. What 8 rookies are starting? I got a DE and a CB who are the other 6? Rocbillsfan1 Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 Pretty amazing with all the chiefs injuries on offense and mahomes on 1 leg that they have put up 20 points. That’s coaching for you folks. Quote
margolbe Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 I remember all those Patriots games with Brady where scrubs were playing offense and defense and the Patriots still managed the win. It is the coaching 3 Quote

It’s so maddening at how bad our gameplan was on both sides of the ball. All 4 games we lost in the playoffs with Allen the defense absolutely choked because of the gameplan not the players. You can’t tell me the Bills didn’t have any talent on the defensive side the last 4 years. And McDermott is supposed to be a defensive guy lol. The guy runs a system that works for most of the regular season which is good enough to win games but then he doesn’t gameplan for the teams we are playing in the playoffs. McDermott and Fraiser run a good system that sets a high floor against mediocre offenses, but they are ***** at game planning and coaching against the top minds. They are just too conservative and predictable. Whether its the Bengals game this year, or 13 seconds last year, they choke at big moments. And unfortunately with McDermott calling the shots they will continue to over-invest in the D, neglecting our real future - JA. 2 Quote

Josh made him look better than he deserved. His offense lacked creativity and balance, but in fairness the O-line and skill players underperformed. He’s got to get another year but Frazier has been terrible in 2 straight playoffs. Dallas fires O coord…basically scored as much as bills. 1 Quote

But to answer your question Karlaftis, Watson, McDuffie, and Cook are all rookies. Chiefs now down 2 starters. Quote

That said whoever wins this game will probably have hung at least 27 points on the other team. In the playoffs you bring your best defense and hope it holds up (ours was very beat up) and if it can't you just have to outscore them. There are a lot of very good playoff defenses that gave up a lot of points. Quote

Cuboirs Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 Everyone is overlooking the weather factor last week , it made a huge difference.... Wonder if the loosing QB today will get bashed like Allen did ... 1 Quote
ngbills Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 Pacheco - 5 catches for 59. Had 13 all year. Quote
Maine-iac Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 Bengals should have been running the ball last series. Bengals doing their best Buffalo impression throwing haymakers all second half. Connecting on a few but making life tough on themselves. Quote
ngbills Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 And punters coaches do kick to sideline Quote
somnus00 Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 Watching this game just makes me more upset about Frazier. 4 Quote
Maine-iac Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 (edited) Jones and Clark or Hendrix and Hubbard ........... we need a couple guys playing in our next playoff game that can drop a QB Edited January 30, 2023 by Maine-iac Quote
Einstein Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 KC put on a defensive clinic. THAT is how you stop a pass happy offense. NOT by dropping all your CB’s back and playing soft. Get right in their face and mess them up. 3 1 Quote
