Bills fans are smart they know that the offensive line is where we need to approve

Because it affects so many other things

It keeps our quarterback, healthy

Improves our passing game

Improves our running game

It keeps opposing offenses off the field, whenever they are playing well

It burns clock whenever you have a lead

Coaching then OL.

I looked back at JA's game vs. Seattle. 80% completions. 4 TDs,  400+ yards. What happened to the schemes that generated those kinds of numbers? To the coaching that could instill that kind of discipline and belief in the system in Josh?

Did it just move to NYC?

No turnovers and 4 takeaways on defense always helps.  Coincidentally Klein always played pretty well here.

Reducing turnovers.   Period.

Top 5 roster across the board.   This is a very good football team who shot themselves in the foot at the execution level with turnovers.

Beane will make moves to improve where he can afford it in the next couple months as usual.

Cut this years turnovers in half and I'm not sure we aren't still watching Bills football right now.

Still watching Bills football.  Are you for real??  The Bengals blew them out of the stadium.  The Bills were NEVER in that game so no turnovers wouldn't have helped much.

If you improved the offensive line, even with no new skill players the offense dominates. We had the number two offense with this line playing, but it wasn’t close to good enough against better teams.

Also, Shakir and Quinton Morris were underused. Next year we will hopefully work more out of heavy sets where Knox and Morris or Gilliam are all on the field. Run the ball on teams to set up believable play action.

I would move Bates to LG, get a new right side of the line in free agency and the draft, and look for Morse’s successor.

I chose OL. I dont think McDermott is going anywhere and at this point I don't think he will change. Dorsey might get better.

Having Allen on here is not unreasonable.  Of course they aren't changing QB, but he can and does need to play better. He had some truly awful turnovers last year. He needs to clean that up.

But for me they need to get better on the OL. If they can get a stud OT to play LG for one year it makes the whole OL better. Brown showed glimpses of being okay RT. He should get every opportunity to win the RT job again.  I would also draft a C/G to develop. Hopefully Morse doesn't retire, but if he does I move Bates to center and replace him with a rookie. Ideally that happens in 2024 not 2023.

I left off WR. I think they need to add at least one good WR Hopefully with some size. I'm higher on Davis than most. He is still cheap and productive.  Let him play out his final year. I would not extend him but I'm not cutting or trading him either.

He is not going to play better. His production is already either 1-2 or 3 in the NFL by any measure. He does this under virtually constant duress  We need to pray he continues to play at his current best-in-show level.

Coaching and OL, but chose coaching. Bengals were down 3 OL.

Yeah and the ended up doing snow angels on our own field. Lol soft ass coaches letting this team down

At this point of the polling, its Oline and coaching.   The follow up question: Is this coaching/gm staff capable of fixing the Oline? Or are these two results connected?

How is it not coaching?  look how the Bills have exited the past 4 years.

Coaching is partly what gets the Bills into the playoffs.

Is the Bills roster as talented as the rosters of the teams still in the hunt?  I don't think so.

Offensive Line is the clear poll winner, which shows that even a bunch of fans can see the big problem.

The odd thing is that Beane said protecting Josh was a priority last season and then proceeded to literally just sign an old castoff guard and nothing else.

Does anyone here think McD & Co get into the playoffs without Josh Allen?

Maybe they do - as the 7th seed. Now that I think about it, the Bills sans Allen are essentially the Dolphins.

IMO…. OC, Dorsey doesn’t have it. Huge lack of creativity, misuse of personnel, etc, there’s a lot of fans that will disagree and say to give him this or that, another year blah blah blah. After an entire offseason last year and 25 weeks of football (preseason, regular and post), not once did I come away from any game saying, “damn amazing game plan” or “dang great play design”. Many of times we begged him to run a little more…. Many of times it was way to predictable, “here comes a run”, 90% we are correct.

Those are things Dorsey has control over and yet things just continually got worse IMO.

After the bye week, damn near every fan, analysts, commentators, talk shows would mention something along the lines of, “a win is a win”, no TDs in the second half, “what’s going on?”. Not committing to the run, Diggs being stripped from the offense double up and Dorsey can’t find ways or do anything to get him the ball.

It will be more of the same next year. I guarantee it and it’s nothing but wasted time. Don’t be surprised if the bills don’t win 10 games. Our schedule next year is no joke.

Where's the problem then? Are you saying we are fine with the way we are?

Only Barbra Streisand and Robert Redford were fine the way they were.

No NFL team should ever think they are. Bills have needs in many areas.

the Bills won 13 games with this talent--this isn't the Giants or the Jags or the Seahawks  assing into the playoffs.

Every year they go out badly.  That's coaching.  We saw it last week.  We saw it last year.

I was not previously familiar with this expression. Its pretty funny.

The 5 games Insaw this year it was obvious the OLine was going to get Allen Killed.  Yes Allen scrambles well but I am sure he wouldn’t mind being able to go back and just pass the ball without being hit or harassed almost every time.
