RyanC883 Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 (edited) Post em' here. I'll start: 27. Michael Mayer TE Notre Dame (BPA, 2 TE sets will be crazy. Great catcher, great blocker.). 59. Jarrett Patterson OG Notre Dame (best C in draft. Can also play G.) 91. Israel Abanikanda RB Pittsburgh (need another RB, perhaps too similar to Cook?) 128. Wanya Morris OT Oklahoma (OT is a need, got a strong one here) 135. Keeanu Benton DT Wisconsin (I know nothing about him. Needed a DT, and was BPA based on the Pro Football Network simulator) 160. Garrett Williams CB Syracuse (very athletic CB. Ball hawking, run-supporting). Edited January 27, 2023 by RyanC883 3 1 1 1 Quote

Another 3rd round RB will make my head explode. Fine. Fine. fine. Overall, would absolutely HATE this draft. 3 1 3 Quote
947 Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 Would love Mayer, but doubtful he drops to us. If he's really the best all-around TE prospect since Hockenson, somebody will take him in the top half. Hock went #8. I really like Patterson. Not sure how I'd feel about drafting another lumbering RT from Oklahoma, but I like the overall commitment to OL. Quote
Gunsgoodtime Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 Hate that draft honestly. We already have an overpaid TE, and where is our WR help? We need a #2 and a slot WR desperately this year. Te at #1 is no bueno 4 Quote
ngbills Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 PFF Mock: 27. Anton Harrison T Oklahoma (best available at position of need, rookie starter) 59. Jalin Hyatt WR Tennessee (weapon with speed) 91. Steve Avila G TCU (another potential OL starter) 130. Olusegun Oluwatimi C Michigan (Another OL, Morse future replacement) 139. Riley Moss CB Iowa (Need DB help, first year contributor) 164. Deuce Vaughn RB Kansas State (Depth in RB room) 205. Cameron Latu TE Alabama (Solid TE2) 247. Jadon Haselwood WR Arkansas (Has size, practice squad) 17 1 4 Quote
LABILLBACKER Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 No, we either go OL or WR @ 27. If McDermott wants defensive players he can wait till the 5th round. 3 1 1 1 Quote

If Patterson falls that far in the second round, we'd better take him. We'd be stupid not to. Edited January 27, 2023 by Billz4ever 1 Quote

Would rather see them take a safety and a wide receiver (late - hope to find one like Shakir or Hodgins) 1 Quote

Can't see him falling to the end of the second round. Would be nice if he did, but I don't see it. If we want one of the better WR prospects, it's going to have to be with our first round pick IMO. 6 Quote
quincy Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 From the posts in the thread, PFF seems to give Buffalo 8 picks in the 2023 draft and PFN only gives 6. Do we have to wait for the Super Bowl to conclude to be certain of how many picks we have or is one site or both incorrect? Quote

I've seen some boards having him gone early second. That would be amazing though. Knowing this team, we'd pass and take a DE instead. And curious why we'd take an edge rusher in the first round when we have Groot and Von. Edited January 27, 2023 by Billz4ever 1 Quote

One of the reasons why I'm not a fan of PFF. I think there rankings are off. But, with a no trade Mock on PFF, I just grabbed the position and players I like that were available. Personally I think PFN is better in ranking.🤔 1 Quote
