dorquemada Posted January 26, 2023 Posted January 26, 2023 I mean, he's terrible and all, but the success he has had was with Rogers so 1 Quote
beebe Posted January 26, 2023 Posted January 26, 2023 This is 100% a preemptive move. Rodgers will be a New York Jet next year. 1 1 1 2 Quote

gobills404 Posted January 26, 2023 Posted January 26, 2023 (edited) Lots of Jets fans gonna be coping with “Green Bay had a great offense when he was the coordinator”. Yeah and Adam Gase was OC for a great offense he had Peyton Manning. How’d that work out once he didn’t have an elite QB with the Fish or Jets? Edited January 26, 2023 by gobills404 2 Quote
Strethor Posted January 26, 2023 Posted January 26, 2023 The last team that hired Hackett to try and lure Rodgers ended up in flames. 2 Quote

And last year, Rodgers was an actual FA so moving on from him would have cost GB nothing. Now they take a huge dead cap hit. Quote
SCBills Posted January 26, 2023 Posted January 26, 2023 Broncos hired Hackett to get Rodgers. Got Russ. Jets hire Hackett to get Rodgers. Derek Carr, confirmed. 1 8 Quote

Gregg Posted January 26, 2023 Posted January 26, 2023 Laughing now but if Rodgers goes there then it could end up being a good move. 2 1 1 Quote

I think Hackett is terrible and not just because of his HC stint in Denver. I don’t see much difference in him between now and when he was our OC. Just keep Rodgers out of there. That roster is loaded just about everywhere but QB. They get a guy like Rodgers and it could really come together for them. To their credit, the division isn’t waiting around for the Bills to figure it out. 1 3 Quote
