Any thoughts about proven Schiff lying to the public and/or Swalwell banging a CCP spy? Or nah?

So, you are too much of a coward to actually answer his question.

Good thing I was sitting down.  What a surprise from you.

Democrats Hate Being Held to Their Own Standards: Committee Assignments Edition

by Guy Benson

FTA:

And because politicians will always find justifications for their moves beyond "they asked for it," there are substantive reasons behind each of these decisions.

Omar is an unrepentant bigot.  Swalwell is a smarmy mud-flinger who 'became close' with, and was allegedly compromised by, a Chinese spy.  He cites news 'fact checks' in his defense, but McCarthy says the FBI briefing he received on the underlying intelligence vindicate his call to keep the California Democrat away from sensitive national secrets.  And Adam Schiff used his top perch on the Intelligence Committee to wage partisan war, including repeatedly lying about Trump-Russia "collusion," even after that explosive claim had been debunked by the Mueller investigation.

Schiff is angry.  Maybe he should have lied less, and maybe he should have told his party not to travel down this path, given the guaranteed tit-for-tat that would ensue  If Democrats hadn't meddled in the House GOP's affairs last Congress, McCarthy would probably have let things lie, despite the case against all three (would-be) booted members.

But Pelosi and company pried open this Pandora's box, and now they may have to live with the results.  Enjoy.

He seems like a standup guy - once you get past all the deceit and bullsh*t.

Should he have "been more clear" when he read a made up version of the Trump phone call into the congressional record too?

Adam Schiff Slithers Onto CNN Set, Immediately Proves Kevin McCarthy Right

Watching the wailing and gnashing of teeth from Democrats over House Speaker Kevin McCarthy blocking Reps. Adam Schiff and Eric Swalwell from returning to the House Intel Committee has been an endless source of amusement for many conservatives who remember how the two California Democrats routinely abused their power during the Trump years in order to exact partisan vendettas against their political opposition.

Both Schiff and Swalwell have predictably made big productions out of getting the boot, with Schiff in particular actually pleading his case on the China-controlled/monitored TikTok app and in the process confirming McCarthy made the right call.

And on Sunday, Schiff proceeded to further prove McCarthy’s point about the dangers of having him on the committee when he responded to questions about McCarthy’s claims from CNN’s Dana Bash by again lying through his teeth, on the Russia collusion hoax he peddled for four years as well as the story about the Intel Committee speaking with the so-called “whistleblower” in the first Trump impeachment case before a complaint was even filed with the inspector general:

Now that the Republicans control the House of Representatives by a fairly slim margin, Democrats are starting to get a taste of their own medicine and they’re not liking it. Here’s the latest:

The House is preparing to vote on a resolution to remove Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) from the Foreign Affairs Committee as soon as Wednesday after Republicans found a way to bring a key GOP holdout on board.

Why it matters: House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) looks to be on the cusp of avoiding another destabilizing defeat just weeks after his speaker election went to a historic 15 ballots.

The Democrat triggering continued today after GOP Rep. Matt Gaetz called for an amendment to require the recitation of The Pledge of Allegiance before House Judiciary Committee meetings, and the Democrats fought against it for quite a while:
