WNY Posted January 24, 2023 Posted January 24, 2023 Bills need to go all in and sign Saquon Barkley and draft OL help. I know it will require a lot of cap space and maneuvering, but could be done. Hopefully he will not require an extremely long term contract and will believe that he could win a SB here in Buffalo. Eisen believes this is what we should do and I agree. https://youtu.be/2yu0eu-jQW0 3 4 3 3 Quote

SoCal Deek Posted January 24, 2023 Posted January 24, 2023 Are McD and Frazier still running the defense? If so…save yourself the headache. 1 3 Quote

nucci Posted January 24, 2023 Posted January 24, 2023 well, if Rich Eisen says so....reportedly turned down $12M a year and wants $16M Quote
Donuts and Doritos Posted January 24, 2023 Posted January 24, 2023 I like Eisen, don't hate the idea, but not sure it's as simple as this. Definitely need an upgrade @ WR2, & we don't have a lot of $ to get Barkley, upgrade OLine, new WR2, keep Edmunds, etc... We'll see what Beane can do. Quote

I'd still sign a free agent lineman and draft two. 2 Quote

BuffaloRebound Posted January 24, 2023 Posted January 24, 2023 I don’t hate the idea, but it’s gotta come with improvements on the O-line. I’d much rather sign Barkley than Edmunds. Quote

If we fix the OL, Cook is more than capable of being our feature back. Edited January 24, 2023 by Billz4ever 2 Quote
dorquemada Posted January 24, 2023 Posted January 24, 2023 are we still running a "bombs away!" offensive scheme? Will Borkley get more than 8 carries a game? Will Beane revisit his stubborn refusal to invest in the OL? If you answer yes to any of those questions than the answer is no, why bother? Chances are Beane drafts another can't miss prospect at DL. Probably undersized and high motor, if I had to guess Quote
Warriorspikes51 Posted January 24, 2023 Posted January 24, 2023 The entire draft should be used on the Offense. dynamic threat at WR x 2 OT G TE 1 1 1 Quote

BananaB Posted January 24, 2023 Posted January 24, 2023 Sign Damian Harris for a lot cheaper and have him and Cook split the load. Quote
78thealltimegreat Posted January 24, 2023 Posted January 24, 2023 They need receivers and Oline desperately. Drafting or even signing a dynamic rb ain’t worth it unless his name his Josh Jacobs Quote
Shanahan's Horseshoe Posted January 24, 2023 Posted January 24, 2023 Signing running backs on their second contracts is not smart. There will be cheaper options available but trusting Beane to pick a #1 RB has proven to be futile at this point. Quote

That would be awesome but i'm not seeing it happen in this lifetime but that's just me . Quote

Harris is 1st down/2nd down between the tackles grinder. Short yardage relief to Josh too. If they do not go for one of the 2 premium RB's in the draft, this is a very viable and budget friendly option. Quote

The 200 lbs RBs that they keep drafting are having trouble getting tough yards. Quote
