Mango Posted January 24, 2023 Posted January 24, 2023 McDaniels seems to have the Bills number in year 1. No matter what we do, or who they play, we have had difficulty closing out Miami. The Jets defense is no joke. The Bills could have issues if they find a QB. The division was never a given in 2023 regardless of how the Cincinnati game turned out. Quote

PayDaBill$ Posted January 24, 2023 Posted January 24, 2023 Brady rumors are circulating in Miami if so he will be tough, a lot of talent around him & he’s NOT washed. There he just needs to game manage. Jets & NE aren’t bad teams especially with a few personnel changes. If we don’t make enough of the right moves & continue with the weaknesses that have been discussed here ad nauseam we could find ourselves struggling to win the division. Quote
prissythecat Posted January 24, 2023 Posted January 24, 2023 I can see the Bills not making playoffs next season because they may still be recovering from the emotional roller coaster of the 2022 season . Quote
somnus00 Posted January 24, 2023 Posted January 24, 2023 The path will be difficult. The Jets and Dolphins have both done a good job with roster building. If either of them pick up Lamar or even Carr, they'll be pretty dangerous. That said. We have Allen and Diggs so we'll be dangerous as well. But we'll need a good offseason. Quote

Maybe Carr goes to the Jets? This will not be an easy AFCE win this season. 1 Quote

Southern_Bills Posted January 24, 2023 Posted January 24, 2023 We will make it, then we will get outcoached...again. Eventually no good playerS will come here, winners don't sign up to play for losing coaches. Quote

Trogdor Posted January 24, 2023 Posted January 24, 2023 A lot rides on how they find money to replace the MLB, SS, some D line, and shore up the secondary. There is nothing right now to show that White will ever be a lockdown corner again, but lets hope. If they don't do any of that well I can see Jags, Bucs, Giants, Chargers, and Dolphins giving them fits with Bengals, Eagles, and Chiefs probably running away with it. Who knows, maybe they will fire the coordinators and actually change their approach. Quote
DapperCam Posted January 24, 2023 Posted January 24, 2023 I would be really surprised if they miss the playoffs next year, but you never know. The same offense that struggled against a good playoff team feasts on bad and mediocre teams. I could see the defense taking a step back if there is a shakeup there (in terms of coaches and players).
