A lot of people on here just jumped to conclusions and incriminate the person before anything legal is done. It’s the new Cook thing to do this day an age Quote
Malazan Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 Philipps and Martin are worth bringing back. Maybe Ike? 1 Quote
GETTOTHE50 Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 wouldnt mind shaq back, JP (for cheap), tyler, or sam martin back though. Quote
LOVEMESOMEBILLS Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 I'd take Ike, Singletary and Lawson back as backups IF the money is right. If not let them all find new teams. Quote
Freddie's Dead Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 The only names on that list that I'd keep are Edmunds, Poyer, and Martin. ***** the rest. I know, they'll keep the ST'ers like Matakevich, Formosa, etc. But Crowder, Beas, Klein, etc? ***** 'em all. 1 Quote

When TE is your solution to your crappy O-line you can't exactly use them as weapons as often. Fixing the O-line is absolutely a priority. Yeah, if we can't get an OL that can protect better at least get a Lee Smith type TE2 who is a mauler in pass pro and Free Knox Quote
Mark Vader Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 Jordan Poyer's time is done here. Sad to see him go, but we can't afford to give him big money. I would like to keep Tremaine Edmunds, just hope that we don't have to break the bank to do so. Re-sign Shaq Lawson, he played very good. I'd keep Sam Martin, unless the Bills want someone younger. Back-up players like AJ Klein, Bobby Hart, Ike Boettger & Dean Marlowe can be kept on the cheap. 3 Quote

ngbills Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 Poyer and Edmunds are the only ones that create holes to fill. The rest are essentially replaceable with any NFL level player. 2 Quote
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 There probably isn’t a single FA I’d care if we lost 1 Quote

He was like a 3rd tackle that helped with the run game, pass protection and would even sneak out and catch a pass once in a while. Was a whipping boy here but I felt he was valuable. Quote
TheyCallMeAndy Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 Bold prediction: Poyer tests the market, signs with Buffalo on a cheap 1 year deal before TC starts. Quote
GETTOTHE50 Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 i need new players to be mad at and start threads over. Quote
billsfan89 Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 Poyer, Edumonds, Martin, Singletary, Shaq, J Phillips and possibly one or two of the ST players are worth resigning. But I think Poyer is too expensive and more likely to breakdown. Edumonds to me is going to be worth a big contract. Still fairly young and coming off his best season he is worth trying to sign to a backloaded contract. The rest are more so role players worth having around at the right cost. 1 Quote
Scott7975 Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 Bring Poyer back. Sign some cheap decent guys to replace the rest. Focus all efforst on O line and another stud receiver. Its time this team puts its resources where it matters.... on the side of the ball that scores points. Quote

I think you want to have a line that can taking the field (even if you want to improve it) before hitting FA then the draft. IMHO Boettger coming off an injury should be pretty cheap, though with him being inactive I don't know how they see him. 19 minutes ago, Toledo Bill said: I hated when we let Smith go. If you're going to punt it at the end of every drive in the playoffs might as well have a game changer doing it... he gives people problems fielding as well. Quote
