Frazier’s scheme works when you have a strong defensive line, but we don’t. Every single high draft pick has been underwhelming including Oliver. Honestly I’d rather have Jerry Hughes over any of these guys. They better hope Rousseau pans out next year and Von Miller stays healthy or it will likely be the same thing over & over. No more high drafts picks. Draft capital is better off being spent elsewhere like the offensive line so at least we can score points to make up for it.

Did not know that, but hey, so a new DC(scapegoat) is in the offing.

Our HC and DC/AHC are both highly paid defensive experts yet can't stop any offense when it comes playoff time. If they're not identifying and adapting their weaknesses by now, one or both should be removed. To me this loss is as embarrassing as when the Steelers had their backups in for the final regular season game and all we had to do was win to make the playoffs, and we found a way to lose. Cincy had all 3 starting o-linemen out and one with a banged up knee, and we couldn't get even get a sack!

Frazier's problem is he usually isn't smart enough to hang with Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes in the post season.

The players in his scheme aren't athletic enough to match up against Cincinnati in the post season.

Reid and Mahomes carve him up with the playbook and improvization.  Burrow and Zach Taylor beat him to death with the playbook and athletic mismatches.

I don't think the problem with the Bills defense is personnel.  They failed against a backup offensive line yesterday!   They have depth problems at DB, but so does every team.  In the biggest games, it comes down to schemes, defensive play calling, and disciplined tackling technique.  The failure of the Bills is on the coaching staff.  Our defensive players are good enough to succeed with the right coaching.

The simple answer is NO. But it’s a bit more complicated. Bringing a new DC ignores the fact that McD has a major hand in the defense & defensive schemes. The problem with both McD & Frazier is that their old school defensive schemes are inadequate in dealing with the modern & best (playoff) offenses. Tyler Boyd said it all several weeks ago, Bills D schemes are simple & uncomplicated. That won’t do in 2022. Their scheme is great v mediocre QBs & offenses. They pile up all their impressive D stats versus weak offenses. But when faced with a top flight QB they are clearly inadequate. The last two playoff losses their D was helpless. Several weeks ago Cinci marched right down the field & and did the same yesterday. It was too easy for Burrow as it was too easy for Mahomes last year.

They need a new, modern ( and more complex) D scheme(s) to at least slow down top end QBs. Currently their blitzes are easily diagnosed and ineffective. Even against mediocre QBs the current schemes have glaring issues. How many third & longs did teams convert this year. Just last week a 3rd string QB converted two THIRD & 19s.

Tony Romo joined the chorus yesterday calling for Frazier to get a HC position. But if I am an owner and review his ridiculous D calls in last 13 seconds of KC game last year, or that defensive travesty yesterday; I am saying no thanks.

Leslie Frazier should have been fired last year by the Buffalo Bills. I am not counting on Terry Pegula doing the right thing because he is clueless and incoherent just a bum in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo

So they let him off with a warning last year after coordinating the number 1 scoring defense, and he lets the team slip all the way down to the number 2 defense this season?

And it's not just the lack of pressure. That make shift O-line opened up big holes in the run game.

The Bills D has been fools gold for a while.  Made their reputation last year against lousy teams.  Their secret to success is allowing the short stuff, long drives, then bailing themselves out by forcing a turnover or 4th down stop or limiting to a FG.  Yesterday they couldn’t even stop 3rd downs.

Their secret last year was the offense generating a huge lead forcing the other team out of their game plan and throwing the ball. This defense is built to play with a lead. And our offense this season wasn’t really able to get us the requisite leads so our defense just got shredded.

this all comes down to our defense can’t win games on their own. They are reliant on the offense to be performing well every week. That is not the way to build a championship team

Leslie Frazier will install a bend don’t break defensive scheme that with the right players will win games and have you compete for the playoffs. He has served us well but now with this roster cannot get us past Cinn, KC or the big boys (SF, Phil)in the NFC. What is Beane’s plan going forward. We need a fresh approach on both sides of the ball. With many changes that will be taking place on our roster, the time is now to get a new DC and QB coach. Josh needs a new voice that won’t always agree with him. Keep Dorsey for another year to give him a chance to improve the offense.

Or he coached a defense that gave up 42 points and 552 yards last year and let a team score in 13 seconds. Or in the team's last 3 playoff loses QBs are averaging over 300 yards a game, those QBs also have 8 tds & 0 ints in those games with a 118 QB Rating. We haven't even got to the rushing defense yet where they gave up over 150 yards on average in those 3 games

Gotta love OBL carrying water for the coaches and asking do we really want to change coordinators all the time for Josh, without asking themselves the question of why that’s always going to be an issue for us under McDermott.

The simple answer is YES!
