The simple answer is NO. But it’s a bit more complicated. Bringing a new DC ignores the fact that McD has a major hand in the defense & defensive schemes. The problem with both McD & Frazier is that their old school defensive schemes are inadequate in dealing with the modern & best (playoff) offenses. Tyler Boyd said it all several weeks ago, Bills D schemes are simple & uncomplicated. That won’t do in 2022. Their scheme is great v mediocre QBs & offenses. They pile up all their impressive D stats versus weak offenses. But when faced with a top flight QB they are clearly inadequate. The last two playoff losses their D was helpless. Several weeks ago Cinci marched right down the field & and did the same yesterday. It was too easy for Burrow as it was too easy for Mahomes last year.

They need a new, modern ( and more complex) D scheme(s) to at least slow down top end QBs. Currently their blitzes are easily diagnosed and ineffective. Even against mediocre QBs the current schemes have glaring issues. How many third & longs did teams convert this year. Just last week a 3rd string QB converted two THIRD & 19s.

Tony Romo joined the chorus yesterday calling for Frazier to get a HC position. But if I am an owner and review his ridiculous D calls in last 13 seconds of KC game last year, or that defensive travesty yesterday; I am saying no thanks.

And shortly after Romo was singing his praises, the score was 14 - 0. We need to build a bully oline, add a wr threat, and adopt a much more aggressive mindset on D.

First drive... maybe the first play. Edmonds covering Chase. 3rd and 2 late in the game when we are down 10? Tre 8 yards off Chase.

That's not players, that's coaching. We've been destroyed the past 3 years in the playoffs by KC (twice) and now Cincy. Time to move on.

I think a lot of teams will be interested in hiring Frazier as HC if they are interested in getting the #1 pick of the draft.

Ah, 12th dimensional chess!  Hire an incapable HC, go 2-15 a couple years in a  row, land your own Burrow/Chase combo, win!

The Bills D has been fools gold for a while.  Made their reputation last year against lousy teams.  Their secret to success is allowing the short stuff, long drives, then bailing themselves out by forcing a turnover or 4th down stop or limiting to a FG.  Yesterday they couldn’t even stop 3rd downs.

Frazier's problem is he usually isn't smart enough to hang with Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes in the post season.

The players in his scheme aren't athletic enough to match up against Cincinnati in the post season.

Reid and Mahomes carve him up with the playbook and improvization.  Burrow and Zach Taylor beat him to death with the playbook and athletic mismatches.

Another huge problem with their general scheme is that the bend/don’t break philosophy does not match at all with the offense the Bills have. We have a 250 million dollar QB, one of the NFLs best, and a high octane offense. The bend/keep everything in front of you D results in long, time consuming drives, especially against quality QBs.  Thus keeping your own high octane offense on the sidelines. Better to be more aggressive on D, risk some long plays but trusting that your O will get more opportunities/time to score. The 90s Bills had much the same flaw, a high scoring K gun O matched with Corey’s bend don’t break scheme. Always been a black mark on Levy’s part, not recognizing this philosophical flaw.

What's funny is that Zach Taylor is the HC that led the two tank years upon which the Bengals are built.

Sounds good but he's limited by the players he's working with.

He should have been gone last year!

I don’t understand how he is not fired by now. Get rid of him asap

I's obviously stupid to wait. Coaching hires and interviews are happening now! What sense would it make to wait?

He's not and never  was. As a matter of fact, Dorsey just may have screwed the Carolina job. I don't mind Dorsey, he just needs to quit living vicariously threw hero ball Josh and concentrate on the task at hand.
